in opening,
this work is about Light’s ascension to Love and all the mystery and wonder this light being saw along the way. it is my hope that these thoughts and perspections will illuminate your path to love and make it a much shorter journey than the one i have enjoyed.
but please remember, they’re only thoughts – and it’s only when we put thoughts into action that they come to life and really matter. otherwise, they’re just simply forgotten.
me is you. you is me. we are us.
all of us.

The dreams that you dream are all on the way.”

the room of dark and light
Imagine yourself in a room that’s totally filled with darkness – there’s no light in sight. You can’t see anything, nor make anything out. Nothing is familiar.
Suddenly you feel a strange sensation on your cheek and you reach up to scratch and find a string hanging down. You pull it.
LIGHT! Wonderful blessed light! You can see now. You know who you are… now. You know what to do… now. You also remember what you came into that closet for… now.
But, where did the dark go?
Who cares.
from my perspective, i have a perception.
to look very close and give good inspection.
to create a word to describe these intentions,
i’ll just keep things simple, and call them…
“PERSPECTIONS.”
the perspection of understanding basic 3-dimensional human nature
If you really want to remove yourself from your illusions (which will allow you to stand back and witness them objectively), understanding basic 3D human nature is a must.
Most problems arise in life, because someone is acting below our standards or expectations. We believe humans are to act like humans and what we’re witnessing is just not human, so we go and impose our will to make this person a better human. It only makes sense right? I mean how are we going to let these people know that they’re living wrong (or at least, not quite correctly) and that they need to become aware of a “better life,” WITHOUT imposing our will? Good question.
I guess the only way I can get to that is through something that took me years to finally learn. Just because I can now look at the world and explain why it is to those people who “need” to know it, doesn’t mean that my life is made any easier. I thought it would be, but it wasn’t. I figured, once I found out the answers…. But, it didn’t really help.
If we go in search of “why” something is wrong (outside of ourselves), then we’re spending our time and energy on exterior issues in an attempt to reason our way to changing the world to a better place. Again, we’re spending our time and efforts OUTSIDE of us. That’s not our true purpose here. Please know that it’s not “why” something is happening that’s important, it’s “WHAT” is happening, that is.
Once we figure out what’s right and what’s wrong, then we’ll know what’s right and wrong and live appropriately. That’s what’s important - not why. Anytime we begin searching outside for the answers, we automatically put ourselves in a position of judgment over these issues and the answer we inevitably come up with is always right and should be heeded.
Which leads us to the First Law of Basic 3D Human Nature - THE PERCIEVER ALWAYS KNOWS BEST. In other words, the perceiver’s truth is the “correct” truth. Somehow or another, your excellent intellect is going to point out glaring errors in life (and the world) that absolutely must be fixed. There’s no doubt that you’re right, after all, you can prove it – you’re looking right at them. What’s the problem? Exactly. These “problems” weren’t put here for you to change, but to recognize. Then, when you finally know WHAT they are and enlighten yourself appropriately, your world will change. The outside world can then continue to exist as it is and show others what it just showed you… and your need to change it will fade away.
(How many times have you judged something to be something that it isn’t? So certain to be right, only to see later on, how wrong that judgment was.)
Do not be so selfish as to think that other people may not want to go through the same hell that you just put yourself through.
Which leads us to The Second Law of Basic 3D Human Nature - BE SELFISH. It’s absolutely natural to consider ourselves before considering others. It’s completely normal to do for our self before we do for anyone else. And it’s all right to not do for another if that action only results in goodness for them.
This law rationalizes the world that we’ve all created. It also explains why charities must come begging and the poverty stricken remain where they are.
Which leads to the Third Law of Basic 3D Human Nature - SELF PRESERVATION AT ALL COSTS. Whenever humans are confronted they will seek to protect themselves from whatever charges are being levied against them. From birth to death, self-preservation trumps everything, even compassion. This is where lying and cheating and stealing are rationalized into being, to save one’s self. Instead of facing their fears, these people run and hide.
Watch a child, and then watch an adult. Here you learn that truly, a child only knows the world it grows up in. And it will save its own butt first. (And by the way, age has nothing do with them.)
Which leads to The Fourth Law of Basic 3D Human Nature - HUMANS WERE GIVEN DOMINION OVER THE EARTH… SO GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY! And everyone knows that dominion equates to control and ownership over whatever it is that’s being claimed to be a minion. This has created the false separation spoken of earlier. This gives humans a clear conscience to claim, pillage and plunder everything that they deem necessary as part of their manifest destiny.
And believe me, that’s pretty much everything.
And finally, The Last Law of Basic 3D Human Nature is - DON’T ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING. Whatever’s happening isn’t your fault, you didn’t create it, and you’re just caught up in it. Because after all, it was just an accident or you were only doing what you were told or just doing your job. Besides, what can one person really do about anything, anyway? This is perhaps the most damaging of all 3D human nature. Instead of being in total self-control, people would rather leave that up to someone else.
This is the law that gives away all the power.
I realize these laws seem terse and cruel, but they must be recognized in order for us to let go of all expectations outside of us. Think about it. How often do you get mad because someone is doing something bad or wrong and should know better?
Just because you know better doesn’t mean whoever you’re witnessing doesn’t.
This is where I thought that knowing “why” would make my life easier – it didn’t. Trying to know why is a reuse. It doesn’t matter. But now that I do know why, I can determine (through relativity) whether I’m acting like a human doing a spiritual dance or Spirit doing the human dance.
To complete the circle, here are the Four Laws of Spirit Nature (5th Dimensional human nature):
First Law: be at peace by knowing God.
Second Law: love with responsibility.
Third Law: serve through stewardship.
Fourth Law: go back to the first one.
So how are you going to let these people know that they’re living wrong (or at least not correctly) and that they need to become aware of a “better life,” without imposing your will? By being a living example. I promise you; only those who are interested will come and ask. And there are a lot less of them than you think.
what does it mean to be human?
This morning I got up and decided to sit in my Captain Kirk chair to contemplate the problems of the world. This is what I came up with:
Very, very few people know what it means to be human. Very few understand the incredible responsibility inherent in being one.
So this morning I sit and write this letter in an attempt to make clear, what’s with all the chaos goin’ down around the globe. Here goes:
First and foremost, we are human – we must act like one. Ask yourself these questions (and answer them with a yes or a no):
1) Do I own my neighbors?
2) Do I have the God-given Right to tell them what to do – whether with their own property or their own bodies?
3) Do I have the Right to hurt my neighbors if they do not comply with my demands?
4) Do I believe that safety is more important than liberty? And do I have the Right to do anything to anybody to ensure that safety?
Secondly, laws have been created by people in a fashion that is completely foreign to what The People can comprehend. These certain people have been hired to write down words that only they understand, and those words have in turn, been forced upon the people in The People’s name. Now what sense does it make, to force your own people to live under a foreign law that almost no one understands, and then force everyone to comply with it and punish them when they don’t?
Thirdly, groups of people have come together to claim Rights and Authorities as a collective that they do not have as individuals, yet they still claim to get them from the individuals. (Reference 1 – 3 above, under “First and foremost…”)
Lastly, and most importantly, no one sees their neighbors as a part of their own family. Or I should say, very, very few actually do this - most have no concept of this concept. We have been led like sheep to the separation slaughterhouse, where we’ve been learnt that we must live in the “minority corrals”, where the words of the collectives have encased us. We are either a color or a sex or a religion or handicapped or poor or disadvantaged or hyphenated or… You name it – you argue it – you claim it – you live it – you own it.
In the end, one of two things is going to happen:
The entire world will continue to live separately, never noticing or giving a hoot about what’s going on around them. They will shut their doors and pull the shades and pretend everything’s cool. They will judge everyone as “wrong” who is different from them and they will give wrath to change the minds of those people who are “wrong.”
Or, people will start to come out of their homes and begin to live with their neighbors, and possibly come to see them as great people, who might just have a fresh perspection to offer… and maybe even some help.
The first world is doomed. It will not last much longer. It is a world of fear and paranoia. It is where neighbors spy on neighbors to make them conform. It is a nazi world - an Authoritarian way of life.
The second world is the future. Start it now. Bring this future to your present. All it takes is, “Hello, my name is…”
Overcome your fears. Lay them aside. We are not one-ounce safer today with all our nuclear weapons and spying technology, then when our ancestors roamed the open plains. God will protect us, as He always has.
Do not listen to the fear mongers – they are only doing their jobs trying to get us to hate our neighbors, so we can come to spy on them and do the collective’s dirty work. Do not think that you own your neighbors and have the Right to tell them what to do. For in turn, they will then find the same Right that you did, to make you do things that you do not want to do. We get what we give.
What does it mean to be human? It means everything. Can a beaver show compassion to a poplar tree? Can a black widow show forgiveness to her mate? Can a mosquito give mercy to the blood donor and not bite?
Nature has its own ways of living. It is natural and it is consistent. But, when it comes to us, we can choose.
Our job now is to be enlightened human beings – not machines – not mindless, follow-the-leader automatons that only do what they’re programmed to do. WE ARE NOT CATTLE - we are human. We have the capacity for compassion, instead of wrath; forgiveness, instead of judgment; love, instead of fear; and self-determination instead of mindless lockstep.
Time’s coming to an end and we’re still not getting it. We must stop imposing our will upon our neighbors, thinking that we know better. Stop all the impositions that cause pain. Jesus never imposed, so why should we?
Be human and love your neighbors and love your enemies, too. Then you’ll give them a very good reason to love you back. And concerning practically all enemies, what you think is an action, was actually a RE-action to what’s been done to them. See that and it’s over. There will be peace.
To be human means that we can be responsible and SAVE the forests and the oceans and the streams and fields, which will, in turn, save us. To be human means we can SHOW compassion and love and understanding and patience – that we actually have the capacity to act like God. Ain’t that somethin’?
(One point needs to be made here. No one is saying that we do not have the Right to protect ourselves, and that includes our families.)
God bless you. God bless us all. My hope, my prayer is that tomorrow morning we will wake up and see a whole new world where wrath and judgment have been replaced with hugs and understanding. God made us so we could make a difference. Make one. Even if it’s a small one – but in Divine Reality, there really are no “small ones.”
Today, you are offered a second (or a millionth) chance to go out into the world as a new human - one endowed with the attributes and traits of a Saint. Claim the power to forgive and you will have it. Claim the power to love and you will show it. Claim the power to change and you will surely do it.
Be human. You can change into anything you want. You can wake up poor of Spirit and go to bed later that day completely filled with God and all the wholly new ideas and perspections, which go along with that Filling.
Aren’t the times of wrath and judgment over? Aren’t you sick of being responsible for everyone and everything else? Aren’t you tired of carrying that awesome burden? Then throw your hands up and tell God that you quit. Say, “God, I quit. I can’t carry this burden alone any longer. Please, help me.”
Then smile, because as a human, you have then come to perhaps the greatest realization of all - that life without your Maker ain’t no life at all… IT’S HELL.
Good luck, human.
karma, what a bitch
I've learned karma simply stated is, "The wave that's sent out, always returns." That's karma. In other words, "Whatever we do, will be done unto us."
(I have learned that this perspection is pretty much a “Western” thing. Eastern philosophy defines karma as “What I am here to do.” Today however, we’re watching a “western.”)
Now, imagine that this Earth is actually two Earth’s laid on top of one another and that they are about to split into two (etheric) worlds – one will be a planet of love and the other will continue on as it is. Upon which world will you be standing when the split occurs? (And it will happen as a thief in the night.)
One thing will be very interesting about the new Earth, Terra; it will have an attribute, a characteristic that the current Earth, Gaia, absolutely does not have. The new Earth will have no past. There will be no past to base the future on, in this new Place. Everything that's done, will be new. Everything that comes, WILL BE NEW!
Knowing that, and that karma is simply the wave coming back, it only makes sense to me that since this new place will have no past, we must enter this new place, with no past. All our karmic debts must be paid, for us to move forward into this new realm. We cannot be owing unto past deeds (mainly the 'bad' ones) and still get the key.
Knowing that, there is small wonder why so much chaos and drama exists in our world. Look at all the karma "coming back" to be rectified - one more time. Look at all the people who used to be nazi's in a past life, coming back to atone for it in this one. Some have remembered and atoned.
Many however, have not and kept to their old ways of authoritarianism and dictatorships (all the while, building MORE karma). Look at the Romans who slaughtered all those people - they're getting their last chance, too. Look at America's history on how we've imposed our will and acted as if we were the only one's who were right. Look at your own history of actions, and witness those things that, if they were to ever come back, would cause great distress.
Heck, even The Bible reads that in the end times, all those who have been imprisoned behind the gates of hell shall be freed and given a chance to repent and redeem themselves – one last time. Now, whether they do or not, is up to them.
Karma is the reason for all the "non-peace" in our world (inwardly or outwardly, it doesn't matter). And until ALL karma has been resolved there will be no peace. I tell you, those who are looking for peace tomorrow may find it in their world today, but if they have the same expectations of others, well... Be glad to be alive in these moments of outstanding chaos and utter blasphemy. Be glad to be witnessing all the atrocities and seeing all the destruction.
This is karma tearing down the walls that were built so long ago. All the waves are coming back... now. Right now.
“So what does all this mean to me? How does this affect me?” You might be asking.
There are only two ways to clear the karmic slate, that's it... only two:
The first is to pay atonement for our past actions. In other words, if we have stolen, then we will be stolen from. And if at that moment (of being stolen from) we do NOT go after that thief - or liar - or cheater (this time around) and accept that the wave that came back we created, then that will be the end of that wave. Truly, we must accept that what we're getting, is what we've given… in this life or any other.
There is a less “victimly” approach to this first way, it’s called changing life from an obligation to an opportunity. Take a trip back on Memory Lane and witness the “not-so-good” things you’ve done… or said. (Realize you’ll only be remembering about 2% of them.) Then think of a way of atoning for them now. For instance, if you should go out and give to a perfect stranger, then maybe, just maybe, another perfect stranger won’t come up to you and just take, actually canceling out that wave before it returns.
The second way takes a little less physical involvement. What way could this be? The path of Love and Forgiveness. We get what we give. And now you know that it wasn't an action on their part, but a reaction to something you had done previously (in this life, or another). Forgive those who cause you strife, misery, frustration, pain, suffering, angst… you name it. They’re just doing to you what you’ve done to others… or maybe even to them.
Deep down, we all know there are no accidents, no coincidences, yet we still complain. We all know that God's in charge, yet we still show our doubts. We all know about karma, but are still refusing to accept our responsibilities… all the while, going about creating more and more.
Maybe, it really just comes down to loving and forgiving, and an inner knowing that in God's Eyes, all of this is necessary for us to move onto our new Home.
Something inside of me is telling me to love and to forgive - NOW. There is not much more time left on these linear time tracks. Everything is about to come around. And wouldn't it be nice, if when it did, the wonderful surprises that we got... WERE ALL NEW!
the universal law of appreciation
For a while now, I’ve been very bitchy. I’ve complained and sniveled about way too many things. (Not much stuff was going right in my life, or at least not exactly the way I wanted it to.) I was feeling rather picked on.
So, as I normally do when I reach this pathetic stage of existence, I pick up my “Red-Letter Edition” Bible and simply open it up to somewhere the Red Words are and begin reading. This is what I read:
“Those who claim to have, will have more. Those who claim to have not, even that which they perceive to have shall be taken from them.”
Jesus
Those words burned in my mind. Holy cow, what have I appreciated? What appreciation have I shown my Father for all that I have and for all that I’ve done and for all that I’m doing?
Right at that point, my mind re-minded me of how many things have been taken from me in the last few years. And some of these things I would give just about anything to get back. And I mean that.
I’ve been a sniveler, complaining about everything from Lizzies to my own aches and pains. I’ve been a whiner, complaining about things I don’t have, but should.
I’ve been constantly bitching about all those actions of the people around me and how they should just open their eyes to see what they’re causing.
WAIT! THIS PERSON IS JUST SIMPLY NOT WHO I AM!
Those words of Christ burn in my very being. I have claimed to have not! I have sniveled and whined and bitched and complained to my Father for far too long. And I am absolutely sure that He is absolutely done with listening to it.
Sorry, Dad.
I never realized how much I never showed my appreciation to my Maker, until I realized how much sniveling and whining I’ve been doing… until those words of Christ struck such a resonant chord… until I lost what I had.
My feet hurt, but now I tell my Father “Thank You for my ability to walk.” My back hurts, but I now say, “Thank You for my strength.” My eyes are getting spots and some veins are starting to do weird things, but my words are “Thank You for my sight.”
It’s no longer, “My roof leaks, my porch needs replacing, my home’s a mess. If I only had the money I could fix it myself. If only this or that could happen, then everything would be alright. IF ONLY THIS STUPID THING WOULD WORK!!”
Now it’s, “Thank You for my home. Thank You for my life. Thank You for everything in them.” Simple appreciation – gratefulness – thanks.
It is now time to begin appreciating all the things that we’ve been taking for granted – or else, even that which we have, shall be taken… until we begin to appreciate even that.
I’ve seen this law cause so much suffering. Yet, it is such a simple fix. Complement your home and car for doing their jobs. Tell your refrigerator how good it is at keeping stuff cold. Thank the fish that’s lying on your plate for giving up its life so you can keep going. Thank the bees for their honey and all their work. Grab a tree and hug it like you would the one you love, for all the oxygen it gives. Take a moment out of your day to consider all the work your Maker is doing, to make you a better person, and simply say, “Thanks Dad, I appreciate that.”
the third dispensation
The ancient religion of Ayurveda has a saying, “As is the atom, so is the universe.” Meaning, even as the very small works, so works everything else.
There’s another saying that works here, too, “Life is but simple metaphor.”
A long time ago, according to certain writings, a certain people were led out of bondage - the one who was “bondaging” them was called Pharaoh. He believed that he owned these certain people and thus made them into his personal slaves to do with as he saw fit.
Over some time, and a few unnatural events, these people were led out of bondage by One of their own, who took on this heavy responsibility for his people – his family. He convinced Pharaoh that his people belonged to God and that Pharaoh did not own these people. He begged Pharaoh to let these people enjoy their freedom, by releasing them from his “care.”
After a little cosmic coaxing… he did.
After departing, this One led his people to a far region. According to the old stories, this One took himself up a mountain (in this region) and meditated with his Maker for a while. Now the really important stuff is about to happen next.
While this One was taking care of business up on the mountainside, his people were at the bottom of the mountain waiting for his return. Did they act with reverence to this new land? No. Did they act with respect toward one another now that they were finally freed from their horrible oppression? No. Did these people act grateful and humble towards their God? No. What changed? They came to a new land, but brought their same old ways.
(The story says…) They partied. They drank. They cavorted. They played. They worshipped idolized Gods. Basically, they did everything that they were doing while they were oppressed - except now, the restrictor plate’s been taken off (so to speak).
Here you had a people, who under slavery, lived and died for Pharaoh. Now, they’re living and dying for their own pleasures. How could they know that their pleasures were so wrong? How could they know that the direction they were heading in, was exactly the wrong way?
They couldn’t. They were children, set free upon a land of which they knew not. They had no moral compass. They had no great moral leader of integrity to help them see The Way. (He was still up conversing on the mountainside.)
So, on and on this went until the One came down. And oh boy, when he saw what was a happenin’, he got miffed. You see, he fully expected that these people (whom he told God he would personally take responsibility for…) would act reverently towards their new land and new life. He fully expected that these people (after seeing his example) would change to his way of thinking and his way of living. He fully expected these things to happen and was absolutely dismayed and shocked when he saw that they didn’t.
In a display of utter displeasure, he took the tablets (containing the simple laws of morality and integrity that these certain people needed to abide by) and threw them down, smashing them against the rocks below.
Uh, oh. Down came a little fire and brimstone. Well, maybe a lot - that and a lot of wailing and crying and moaning and gnashing of teeth.
He then went back up the mountain in great disgust. He just couldn’t understand, nor figure out, how his people could have gone so wrong, so fast. This wasn’t right. It just wasn’t right.
When he left for the second time, his people, his Maker’s children, apparently got the message. “The Word is coming, and we need to get our collective stuff together and prepare for it.”
When this Messenger of God came back down with the Second Publication, things were a little different. God’s children were ready. They listened to the First Dispensation which said, “THOU SHALT NOT…” Then after a while (a good while), they were led to the promised land of milk and honey.
Then… A few thousand years later, there came another One to lead His people out of bondage. Except this time, the genesis was to take place in the mind, not as some physical action. (But then of course, once the mind gets out of bondage, the body instantly follows. Anyway…)
This One told great stories and parables and truths, all to lead His people to the understanding of love and compassion and forgiveness. No, this Son of Man did not write any books, nor did His Maker give Him any to pass out. He was simply to be Who He Is/Was/Forever Shall Be and let the crowds gather where they may.
This He knew would be their freewill choice, to follow Him or not. He had no expectations. He did not impose His will as the previous One did. He left their decisions up to them. But one thing was for sure, no one was going to be helped until they helped themselves to that spot right in front of Him.
So from this place, He attempted to pass on great wisdom. He attempted the best He could, to teach these people right from wrong (with a hint of reason behind it). Interestingly, the Message this time was not “THOU SHALT NOT…”. This time the Second Dispensation was “Thou SHALT love thy God with all they heart, mind, soul and strength and Thou SHALT love they neighbor as thyself.” And in doing so, thou shall be seeking God’s Realm, by loving and serving all (as family) that cross thy path.
These simple rules, little did the people know, were the very instructions needed to lead The People to the promised land – all by themselves. This time, unlike the other, no outside help was needed.
Now imagine that, in just a few thousand years it went from, “NO! STOP! DON’T!” To, “Do.” And from, “I must do it for you.” To, “You can do this (and much more) for yourselves.” I think that’s fascinating.
Now, if there was a “Don’t” this Messenger spoke of (not everything was sugar-coated), it was “Don’t judge as a hypocrite.” Simple. Plain. Easy to follow… maybe, but needless to say, very, very important. This simple “Don’t”, He understood to be the greatest, “The Mother of All Don’ts.” He knew this judgment led to a hardening of the heart and an out-of-control mind. He knew this judgment led people astray, off their own path, onto other more destructive paths. He knew the destructive power of “Do as I say, not as I do.”
But, all He could do was speak out for not doing it. He knew He could do no other thing than be a living example of His (and His Maker’s) own laws. To do otherwise, would be hypocritical.
I find one of the most interesting aspects of this One’s trip into Jerusalem, was that He never spoke ill of the oppressive people who crucified His people on scaffolds, lining the highways, which led into the city. These scaffolds went on for a great distance, where many were crucified for not following the rules of the newly occupying force, which conquered and slaughtered thousands. Again, these were an oppressed people, living in bondage under a foreign ruler… one more time.
History repeats until the lesson is learned.
This One did his best to lead His people to the “promised land.” But this time around, He KNEW He could not do for His people. He could NOT physically take them and lead them to the land of milk and honey. This they had to do on their own. This they had to decide using their own God given free-will. (This second Messenger really understood the importance of not interfering with another human’s freewill.)
Hence, this One, this Messenger, did for no one, unless they came to Him first. This assured the Messenger that His Pearls were only being cast on family, not what the family was eating. (If you know what I mean.)
Inevitably, this forced His people to come to a reckoning on their own, a re-connecting, so to speak, concerning their own Spiritual lives. This One knew that all change must come from within, lest it come from without and be rejected.
Then He left us. Yes, some say that it was not by His choosing, but I disagree. It’s impossible to be in more than one place at one time in a limited thinking 3D world. Therefore, how could this One be in everyone, everywhere, all the time, if He were still standing here?
Now, it’s two thousand years later. Look around and what do you see? Craziness and chaos and total lunacy? Maybe.
I believe, however, that what is happening is the unfolding of the Third Dispensation, that of self-government, self-determination, self-reliance and service. All sorts of authoritarian concepts are crashing and burning around us. All the systems based on their illusion of sovereignty and individual power are vaporizing before our eyes. Things seem to be spinning out of control, and that’s exactly what’s happening. The phoenix is ripping itself free.
Control (that’s exterior-type control) is going away. It has to. The days of living in comfort by allowing others to do for us what we should be doing for ourselves, are over. The days of blaming and pointing and deferring and hiding… are over.
No more can we point and blame another. This Third Dispensation is all about being responsible for self. It’s all about reconnecting to the Source that made us - that same Source which the other two Messengers connected to. A Source that is ready to be plugged in, to each and every one of Its Creation.
That’s what’s happening all around us. And the ones scurrying around and screaming and yelling that the sky is falling and terrorism is on the rise and authority is being disrespected and life is going to hell… Well, yes. I guess since ‘belief creates reality’, then life must certainly appear to be going to hell for them - for they are still living under the First and Second Dispensations. (Where all authority exists outside of self. Where all means of salvation and solution are to be found elsewhere.) They have yet to become sovereign in their Maker’s bosom. They have yet to witness their Maker inside of themselves. They must continue to search outwardly to find That Which Has Always Been inside. (That which has also been known as the “Indwelling Spirit.”)
And where does this leave us concerning the relationship of metaphors and this old story? Well,…
At first, a family is begun when two people decide to live their lives together and are willing to make the sacrifices to do it. Then, they decide to have children. Now let’s just take a typical human lifespan here, starting with birth.
Normally, for the first few years of a baby’s life, the only words it hears are “NO! STOP! DON’T!” Now do the parents say these things to hurt the baby, the toddler, the young child? No. In fact, it’s for the exact opposite reason. The parents want to HELP the child.
Now, as this child grows into its teens, normally those words of “Don’t and No” are heard less and less. Hopefully, this baby/toddler/young child – turned teenager - has listened to its parents, done what they’ve asked and come to realize WHY they asked it in the first place. As this period of maturity comes, rules relax and dictatorial relationships between the parents and child(ren) go away. An understanding takes place. Things get better.
As time goes by, the good child shows its parents that it holds itself responsible for its own actions and such. In return, the parents then naturally begin to say “Yes.” a little bit more now than “No!” They begin to let go of the reigns, and allow some individual freedom to be expressed in an acceptable fashion.
Then as the good young adult matures and leaves the home, it becomes totally self-responsible, totally self-reliant, totally self-determined and hopefully, totally self-governing (meaning no one will be needed in its life to tell it right from wrong and to remind it to get up, exercise, eat well and go to work).
These are the normal stages of our lives. These steps are what almost all functional, rational, “normal” people go through in becoming normal, functional, rational, well-operating human beings.
In other words, the same steps just mentally witnessed covering thousands of years of a certain peoples’ history, can be represented in a single person’s life.
Here are more insights… (By the way, “within” is the seventh direction.)
Sometimes children have to have the bejeebers scared out of them to make them straighten up and listen.
If we do not impose upon our children, they will go their own way. Without a sense of morality and an example of good integrity, their own way will probably be the wrong way. Therefore, if we do not impose upon our children to somehow teach them right from wrong, we will be left to live with our own shortcomings.
Whenever we take on another’s responsibilities, expectations naturally follow. And those expectations normally bring about tremendous letdowns.
As children, we’re told what to do, how to act and to follow all the rules. As adolescents, we’re given more freedoms, but still live under house rule. As young adults, we take over our own lives. We live according to our own rules. We accept responsibility for our own lives and live accordingly.
At times it’s incredibly hard to believe (as well as accept) the actions of our own family.
And lastly, Armageddon is really the genesis of the mind to the heart. Bye bye, Pharaoh.
Can you see the Ayurveda wisdom in all this? As is a man’s family, so is the Family of Man. As is the families of men, so is the Family of God.
It’s when we finally reach this stage in life that we begin to understand the really important things. Family, Love, Compassion. These are the things that will get us into the Third Dispensation that’s now taking hold.
The First Dispensation said, “Don’t.” The Second One said, “Do, with a little Don’t.” The Third One says, “Grow up. Be responsible. Be compassionate. Be loving. Be of service.”
Just like those wonderful words of instruction that Mom and Dad passed onto us at the supper table - during our growing years - so long ago.
To sum it all up:
a baby has everything done for it.
a small child is less of a burden.
an older child helps us out with it.
adults do it all – that’s for certain.
it’s time for the light
It’s Sunday morning. In fact, it’s a very special Sunday morning. On this morning the concept of time and the kindheartedness of our government made it possible for me to sleep in longer, without me even noticing it. (At some point in the wee hours I was graciously provided with 60 extra minutes to experience my dreams with.) Well, guess what? I didn’t sleep in and quite enjoyed that extra hour in my conscious life.
Where did this mysterious extra time come from that allowed me to experience 3600 more seconds, yet not officially add a second’s worth of time to my recorded age? What’s that? We got it from about six months ago when it was taken away? Who took it? Oh, it’s supposed to make the day longer – save daylight. I get it. No I don’t. The sun rises, the sun sets. Only humans on this entire planet break the day down into neat little wedges of distance that can be measured by a concept called time.
How good are we at measuring these wedges? Well, let me say that I hope surgery is performed with greater accuracy. Every four years we have to add a day – a whole day, 1440 minutes! – to our time wedges. And if that’s not enough, every year the official atomic clock must be adjusted ever so slightly, to add time, because our calculations concerning time are not absolutely correct.
Where does this extra time come from? Can we get more time there, instead of just one day in four years and a few measly seconds every 12 months? Is all this tomfoolery happening because scientists aren’t smart enough to get their equations and figures right? Maybe. However, I suggest that the scientists ARE correct in their calculations; they’re just trying to apply absolute concrete formulas to something that is NOT absolutely constant and is forever changing.
Now doesn’t that put a whole new spin on things? Time is not absolute. Time is like fabric, it can be warped and stretched and folded and torn (just like space, because time and space are one in the same). How can that be? How can time be manipulated like this? By allowing our perspection of time to change.
Imagine this: Time is like a river, very much like a river – it’s not constant, it varies. What may appear to be a raging river of white-water rapids upstream can also appear to be a calm brook downstream. The truth of the river rests in the perspection of the viewer – did you see rage or calm? Is it moving quickly or slowly? Do you see that all possibilities actually exist over the course of the river? And if we can climb high enough to see the whole river, we’d notice that all the small perspections fade away, allowing the perceiver to view the whole river as one all-inclusive river, without the clear definition of detail that always seems to create false separations or divisions (or wedges).
Time is a river. All possibilities actually exist over the course of time. The metaphor of climbing higher is achieved in time by moving closer to the speed of light. Time is slowed because our perspection is moving farther away from it, making it appear that it’s actually slowing down. (Okay here’s a good way to see what I’m trying to say: The next time you’re in the car cruising down the open highway, look far away out your door. Notice the horizon barely seems to be moving. Now quickly look to the ground next to you, it appears to be really flying by. From your perspection, it would be truthful to state that things farther away move slower than things up close. Yet we all know that this is simply not the case. Right?)
Let’s imagine something else: Einstein theorized that the faster an object moved towards the speed of light, the slower its time was (the slower the object aged), when measured relative to its original position. In other words, you’re now in a spaceship moving much faster through space than the Earth is. In a little jaunt to some distant star and back, your clock says that you’ve only been gone for 2 years – and your biological clock agrees. However, to your amazement, your son, who is now many years OLDER than you, greets you at the gate. Time slows down for the perceiver that’s moving (or vibrating) closer to the speed of light. Perhaps “slows” is not quite the right word here; let’s say that time begins to move towards “no time.”
For example: What was once measured to be 1.28 seconds 25 years ago, may actually only measure out to be one second today - if that were scientifically possible. Time’s like money, it ain’t what it used to be.
If something is traveling at the speed of light, what distance will be calculated to determine the time it took that object to cover that distance? Since light travels at the speed of 5.88 trillion miles (that’s 5,880,000,000,000 miles) per year, (you can do the math to find out how far light travels in a second), it becomes clear to see that it wouldn’t take much time to go a very long distance. Therefore, distance becomes enormous while time becomes miniscule.
The faster something moves, the less it ages, relative to when it’s at rest. (Is that why runners always look so young?) Also, the faster something moves, the smaller the time wedges get. Great distances are covered over much less time. This exactly describes what’s happening with time on the Earth. We are moving faster and vibrating higher, which is slowly but surely putting an end to time.
Here’s a question for you: Scientists have determined the speed that the Earth revolves around the sun and they’ve also determined the speed that the Earth spins or rotates on its axis. But has anyone ever determined the speed that we’re moving (we being the entire solar system and the Earth is just tagging along for the ride) through the galaxy? And the galaxy through the universe? By now, maybe so.
Is it possible to gain a relative determination of speed from something that’s moving inconsistently in a field that’s constantly moving inconsistently? Oh, I guess that’s really three questions, or maybe three and a half.
Anyway, my point being, I believe the entire solar system is hurling across the galaxy a whole lot faster than it used to and we’re getting even faster – every day, every moment. (And by the way, the path the Earth takes through the universe resembles an upward moving spiral, not the commonly perceived flat, back and forth rotating disk on a two-dimensional blackboard universe. The Earth cannot de-evolve. Therefore, the only way we can go, is up.)
So if everything in this illusion is for-sure going to happen, what’s the variable that keeps us from seeing it? Time. Instead of seeing the entire river as one beautiful work of God, time allows us to zoom in and look at all the nooks and crannies, up close. And not only can we see things really clearly, we can also look behind and see the river’s past (relative to our time-position on it) or ahead and see the river’s future (again, relative to our time-position on it). Time is the lens that allows us to really get a good look at the river of life. It creates a false sense of separation from the very thing that’s being witnessed or lived through. Just like when we could only see the rapids and nothing else, time creates the same illusion with life.
But, since time is moving towards no time, the actual time wedges are getting smaller as time goes on. From that perspection, it becomes clear to see that there actually was more time in the past! Back then, time gave us the opportunity to do the things that we always wanted to do, but today we’re stuck with only enough time to do the stuff that we HAVE to do. It just doesn’t seem fair and it’s creating stress - massive amounts of stress.
Okay time to imagine something else: Imagine that you’re looking under a microscope at an adjustable glass room full of atoms. You can clearly see all the electrons buzzing around each of their respective nuclei, making a light haze. Now make the room smaller. As the space decreases, strange effects in the room begin to happen: 1) as the atoms are slowly crammed together, the friction caused by their electrons moving closer and closer together increases. 2) Friction generates heat. 3) Heat rises substantially as atoms are crammed tighter and tighter together in this reducing space. 4) Inevitably, critical mass is reached, melt down occurs and everything is lost.
Now, please take that vision and change it slightly – you’re the room and the atoms represent all the stuff in your life (including your thoughts, actions, relationships, material items, etc.). Get the picture? That’s what’s happening to our world. All of us must do some housecleaning or the only option is melt down. The wedges are getting smaller.
Stress is the absolute side effect of trying to cram yesterday into today, hoping that it’ll still fit in tomorrow. That must be stopped - both physically and mentally. We are literally running out of time (not the humans, the concept) and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop that from happening. I know that sounds a bit scary, but after all, when time does cease, do you think the squirrels in the trees will be affected?
3 needs that must be met for all non-squirrelly type humans to survive the slow but steady ceasing of time:
1) The need to forgive self and let go of all fear.
2) The need to not judge and accept the world as God’s will.
3) The need to replace all personal human belief systems (like man’s law, i.e. human nature/time) with a Higher Belief System (like God’s law, i.e. Mother Nature/now).
That’s about it; I think I’m running out of time. For gosh sakes, where did it go? Boy, time just flew by, didn’t it? If only I had more time. But, before it does run out, I leave you with this:
What will happen when “no time” happens? Nothing… everything. Maybe we’ll all come to understand that all of time is like the river; it all exists at once. One day it will happen. It was only our limited time-controlled perspection that kept us from knowing that.
I believe on that day, at that very moment when time ceases (as we know it), we’ll become aware of Who We Really Are and of the charade that we’ve lived all this time. What a great day that will be when everyone finally recognizes everyone as a Piece of God and not as someone separate from themselves. War will end… permanently. Peace will reign… permanently. Won’t that be a grand time?
One more thing, time ceases when our breath is taken away. So if we can somehow find a way to find life breathtaking, we won’t age anymore. Although no time is coming, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t already exist in a form that we can use RIGHT NOW. Woeful will be those who base their life upon the illusion of time.
the perspection of life
being just simple metaphor
Metaphor – The application of a word or phrase to an object or concept it does not literally denote (or may, if you look close enough – my words), suggesting comparison to that object or concept, as in “A mighty fortress is our God.” Webster’s Dictionary 1964
In the back of my mind a truth has been resting - maybe resting for far too long. Lately I’ve been giving great thought to metaphors - those simple little phrases that make us visualize things so simply, so easily. What could it be that’s piqued my interest so?
Today I found out - thanks, my friend. The power of metaphors rests in their ability to not only pass on wisdom through words, but also VISIONS with words. Think about it, in order to understand them, isn’t it easier to see what the words are saying?
The word ‘metaphor’ is a combination of two other words – metaphysical and force. Now before you start limiting your thinking, begin to realize the power of visualization in life. The better we can see things, the better the results are – every time, too. Ask any golfer. Or any sportsman, for that matter.
Well, if metaphors combine thinking with seeing and allow us to witness things more easily and simply, maybe they can actually paint the picture all around us, too, and stay hidden away until we come to the revelation that they even exist, at all.
I guess what I’m saying is, metaphors aren’t imposing their will upon us, but they certainly are helping us to define things better.
For instance, this season more than any other, I’ve noticed a lot of tree roots working their way above the ground. It seems that nearly every yard I mow, has at least one tree, which has most of its closest roots sticking above the ground, fully exposed. Does this mean that what was once firmly established, embedded and hidden, is now beginning to uproot? …and come to light? It is what happens, when roots seek the water of life.
Recently a friend told me that his dog ripped up one of his favorite books. Well actually, he mauled it, tore it to shreds and only had the binding hanging from his teeth when he emerged out from under the bed. His owner was not impressed. The owner loved his dog and didn’t punish him, but did feel a little indifferent towards having a really good book destroyed. Upon the telling of this ‘tail’, these words instantly came to mind, “It’s apparent that the Universe felt you needed to sleep on those words.” After saying that, I also suggested that he not vacuum them up any time soon.
If we could only somehow, someway come to see the simplicity in life and the powerful insights that can come from it.
Once my friend heard those words “…well maybe you needed to sleep on them”, he smiled. There was no anger – he achieved an insight.
Here’s another good one: During my off-season I do “odds and ends” things to help out - one of them is to deliver luggage to those unfortunate people who happened to arrive without it. Well this season, there was one distinguishable, unmistakable trait to my deliveries; nearly every single one took me to the end of the road. I mean all the way to the end! Gee, I wonder what the metaphor is in that? (By the way, I wrote that many years ago. And yes, that was my last season of delivering luggage.)
If you just take a moment out of your busy schedule and complicated life to witness simplicity in its finest form, you may see what I’m saying – look for the metaphors. Are you one who says, “You’re a pain in the neck” or some other body part? Can you see the metaphor in those words? Better yet, can you see the reality in them? Can this explain why you’ve been visiting the chiropractor so much, lately?
How about all those sympathetic thoughts about your friends or family – “Poor Suzie” or “Poor Uncle Bob.” In feeling sorry for them (and expressing your sorrow for them to others), can you see that you’re not helping out their financial status very much? Watch how you describe yourself to others. See how the “Pursuit of Sympathy” makes you LESS than What You Are and actually limits your potential being.
Listen to others and witness how their thoughts and words actually sculpt their lives and many of the problems in them. Careful though, because once you become aware, you will hear it everywhere.
One day, while I was in an elevator, I commented on something that a lady had said (you know, elevator chat). To which she replied, “I’d rather be hit by a bus than think of that.” Talk about being shocked! Suddenly the doors opened wide and she was gone. I quickly looked out to see if any buses were near. I’ve often wondered if she really knew what she said. Needless to say, we must watch our words.
Let’s look out a little farther: “Those people down there look just like ants!” “His patience is like a tree bending in the wind.” “Life is a bed of roses.” “A mighty fortress is our God.” Have you ever seen anyone green with envy? Red with rage? Blue with sadness? They’re all metaphors and very literal.
Could people with poor vision simply be folks who have yet to see things clearly? Maybe giving replies of “I see” or “I clearly see that” could help this situation. Or maybe even just washing all the windows in your life (completely inside and out, this time), might let you see things better. For those with hearing deficiencies, start replying with “I hear that!” Get it? (Let me also say, if you feel a little overweight and want to go on a metaphoric diet, just be fed up with everything in the world – I guarantee, you’ll lose your appetite in no time.)
I think people who climb mountains love to meet challenges head on. I also think people who say that this is a “dog-eat-dog world” should go and burrow somewhere else. And for all those people who express that life is just one big rat race, well…?
Metaphors speak to us in ways that no other form of language can do. They have a tendency to clear up confusion and paint the perfect picture of our surroundings (literally!) – as long as we have our eyes open wide to see them. Witness the power of your words, along with clear visualization. That’s the secret to achieving the higher dimensional language. Metaphors speak right to our hearts, completely bypassing the logical brain. (There is no logic in a metaphor, there is only insight.)
Jesus spoke in the higher dimensional language of metaphors. Many books on enlightenment use metaphors quite regularly. They act as a common denominator for effective communication to take place between those who can see and those who can’t, but want to. (It was once described as a language where those with ears might not hear and those with eyes might not see.)
Metaphors are the simplest and most effective form of communication. (In fact, it is the one sure way to witness God’s Word.) Start speaking in metaphors - not to be cute, but to be effective in getting across your vision with words. Look at your life right now and witness as many metaphors as possible that have caused you your troubles. Then use your own metaphors to solve them.
This is the way that God wants us to solve our problems. It’s a very enlightened way of living. After all, this is God’s language and it would do us good to learn it.
May I suggest the following strategy: Set a goal. Describe how you’re going to achieve that goal by using a metaphor (such as, “I will climb that mountain to reach my peak.”) Now follow the metaphor with your every thought, word and deed and witness the power of walking a metaphoric life. Not meteoric, metaphoric. Nobody’s going to burn up, those days are past us.
One more thing, I did have a chapter in here on the perspection of healing, but once I understood the perspection of metaphors, that chapter seemed redundant. So here’s “How to Live a Metaphoric Life in Three Easy Steps.”
WATCH WHAT YOU SAY.
SAY WHAT YOU SEE.
BECOME YOUR HIGHEST VISION,
through thoughts, words and deeds.
Simple, huh?
All roads have an ending or is that just the beginning of another? A person watching you leave witnesses your death, but another watching you arrive celebrates your birth. In both cases, one thing was constant; you had no control over how you were being perceived, you only had control over what you were doing.
It appears in our world, that using metaphors is just too simple a concept to fix our complex problems.
To God however, they are REALITY.
the perspection of
the invisible two-way mirror
Directly around each of us exists an invisible mirror – we can’t see it, touch it, taste it, smell it or hear it. Try with all your might, you’ll fail to witness it in any of those ways. We actually think that we’re viewing the world from a direct perspective; however, things are not as they seem.
Imagine that you’re standing in front of a huge two-way mirror – like in a police station. People on the outside can readily see you, but you can’t see them. You actually believe you’re seeing them, but you’re really only seeing your own reflection. It looks like them, but it’s you. No matter what you do, all you can see is yourself and the reflection of everything in the mirror. And by the way, it is possible to see the whole world’s reflection, but you might need to move around a lot to do it.
Now imagine standing in front of a sink full of motionless water. Slap it. Out from under your hand emerges a mini-tidal wave rushing headlong, straight-out, in all directions - that is until it hits the sink wall. Witness how the water instantly reverses direction and returns to the point of origin at nearly the same speed and intensity that it was sent out with. How can that be? Isn’t the wave somehow absorbed by the sink wall and diminished? No. It returns – it always will, no matter how lightly you tap.
Now start lightly tapping the water and watch the geometric shapes form as the ripples return to your hand. Notice that the more you tap, the more ripples return, creating a form of “chaos.” After a while, it becomes clear to see that you don’t have to tap hard to achieve results - just often. Now stop tapping the water and watch how quickly the ripples naturally diminish, making the water return to a natural calm.
These are the properties of the invisible two-way mirror. It will allow the world to witness you for who you are, but it will only allow you to witness your own reflection and receive back every ripple that you created because of your emotional attachments to life. (Only through receiving, can we ever know what we’re giving.)
Every ripple of fear and intolerance that we generate through thought and word, will return to us in that intensity – and in as many varying forms as there are various people and events. The same goes with actions, except the return ripple can be very intense. In other words, when we lie (no matter how small, and no matter for what reason), we will be lied to. And when we cause hurt, we too, shall be hurt – maybe not right away, but rest assured, it will come. And as more ugly thoughts are thought (like more tapping…), more ugliness is returned to its “creator.” I never realized until today, that the world of ugliness that I thought I was witnessing out there, was actually me!
People think that they’re seeing the real world, but they’re only seeing a reflection of themselves. Think for a moment, how many times have you yelled the same words at different people?
There is a way out of this chaos however, and it’s called applying the process of love. Love is the very thing that diminishes the ripples. Imagine belly flopping into the ocean - your wave goes on forever! That’s the ocean of love. It is endless. Love destroys your mirror. Love tears down that wall of reflection. It makes you witness your neighbor’s struggles and makes you forget about your own. Love outwardly moves you past your own limited reflections and allows you to finally perceive and become one with the entire world. Love is light and light is on the move. The darkness that you’ve been experiencing has stagnated your life for far too long.
LOVE IS THE ONLY WAY OUT.
This is also the essence of the sucker trap (the trap that we create by holding on). It is imperative that we let go of everything that’s causing us pain. It is absolutely essential that those things be discarded and left behind forever. The only way Home is to pass back through the sucker trap opening and that can only be done through loving our world and letting go of everything that’s keeping us in our sad state of affairs. Love is the only energy that’s being allowed to escape – all else is coming home to roost and it’s burying everything in its wake.
Under the rules of the invisible two-way mirror we cannot fight to win. We cannot struggle to survive. We can only cast the image of love – everything else is an illusion, a reflection of our world... of us.
When love begins reflecting upon the world, we stop reflecting on ourselves. Never ever forget that.
the perspection of reliance
While driving to my friend’s home in Black Forest the other night, I was contemplating the situation of babies at birth (another one of our friends just had one on leap year day, so kids have been fresh on my mind). I really thought about why God would create such helpless creatures who would surely die without our assistance. If you look elsewhere in Nature, you can find many creatures that don’t require this assistance – look at all the bugs and fish. I mean, even baby alligators come out chomping!
Why would God make some animals able to survive at birth and others, (like us humans) not? No baby can ever defend itself; no baby can hunt for food or gather survival supplies; and no baby can construct a shelter or even understand the basic logic of getting out of the rain. Yet here we are. I find that fascinating.
Why would God make us such reliant beings at birth? Why wouldn’t He make us self-sufficient, thus drastically increasing our chances of surviving and living a long, fruitful life? Then the answer came – reliance IS the lesson, the experience. Because this is a basically separated, material world where the concept of family is as foreign as Mars, there’s an excellent chance that as we grow older we will become less reliant, less dependent and more independent (separate).
Isn’t that amazing, we actually move in a direction that appears correct, but is exactly opposite of where we should be going.
I wrote this book with the intent of evolving from someone I was (an ignorant, non self-reliant person), into someone I wanted to be (a wise, self-reliant person). I figured that if I could just get this wisdom on paper, then I‘d have a guideline to go back to every now and then, to make sure that I was doing what I needed to be doing in order to get going to where I wanted to be going. Hence, i am rising phoenix.
Along the way though, I found God. In all of my attempts to reason and rationalize human behavior, I came to know That Which created human behavior. Through much introspection, I reasoned that I am a Spark from the Divine Flame and God is my partner and my Eternal Friend. I came to see all of creation as a part of our Good Father, and that He exists within every atom of it. I’ve witnessed the struggles of men (and women) and have come to realize why they do, in hopes that these perspections can be easily shown through our own nature – to end it. I’ve come to be so empowered that I don’t need the assistance of another human being to survive. I have reached the moment of self-reliance. That’s good, right? I mean, that’s where I thought I wanted to be when I got here… right? Well, that’s what I thought.
In the last few days, I’ve truly come to witness that God saved the best for last. My Good Father has helped me to be a witness to the struggles and strife’s of humanity. He has helped me to understand the reasons for it and helped me to gain peace through knowing that He created it all in the first place. God has helped me to see a different person in the bathroom mirror in the morning. He has helped me to become so empowered, that I’m now self-reliant. But, there is one thing that my Father has not shown me, because it’s something that He can’t. Although, on a trip to Black Forest one evening, I became aware of it and realized that it’s something I’d witnessed all my life (in fact, experienced it once myself) and wasn’t aware of its awesome truth, until now.
God made me reliant in order to understand what reliance is - and the only way that can happen on this planet is through experiencing it. Why do I need to remember what reliance is? Because for one egotistical reason or another, I came to know of God, speak of God, have the knowledge of God and become partners with God, but I have yet to demonstrate my reliance upon Him. That is changing. There is a difference between knowing the path and walking it - this is it. And please, please remember, God may be all around us, but He’s certainly inside us, too. Look there. We are not separate from That Which Created Us. Only we make it that way.
In all my times of writing this, I thought I was doing the world a service. I thought that maybe these words would have the power to instill credibility into our civilization through the understanding and application of responsibility, integrity, courage and honor into our everyday lives. All of this verbiage however, was nothing but my ego talking a good talk, because it knew that it couldn’t walk the good walk. What a trickster. I’ve truly come to recognize that in all this talk, the one thing that I forgot was the most important thing - Dad.
The ego instinctively knows that once its host becomes reliant upon God, no relative observation of human nature could ever bring it back into play. And that’s not a real viable happening for something that can take the opportunity at any time to make us forget our reliance. So therefore, be aware of whether you’re talking the path or walking it. One is your ego convincing you that you’re something you really aren’t, the other is your Father taking you to places that you have yet to dream of.
I have finally come to understand why it was so important for me to figure out why things are the way they are and why people act the way they do. I now understand that I could never know of freedom, until I experienced bondage. I understand that life is not about re-acting, but acting out every moment like it’s my last. I truly understand that it’s not my place to change anything outside of me to gain gratification that I’m doing the right thing against something that is truly wrong.
And finally, I’m now beginning to understand that all of that is meaningless, unless I come to rely upon my Father in Heaven.
Dad created me to witness His works with love and compassion; and He makes it all possible when I finally come to rely upon Him as if I am a newborn, with a childlike faith. All of this work has led me to those two simple truths. I am awestruck.
All of life’s wants are there to make us realize that He’s not. All of our problems are still problems because we have yet to rely upon Him to solve them. The old saying “God helps them who help themselves” is true, but to help yourself without relying upon God is not helping yourself at all – it’s just creating a greater separation from That Which We All Are.
Lately I’ve noticed that my mind has become so smart, that I can figure out (mentally) just about every problem in a matter of seconds. In a way, that’s good. However, in another it’s catastrophic. Every time I assume that I can solve a problem all by myself (thanks to my excellent intellect), I’ve left God out of the solution. Every time I think that I know best and head on down to the hardware store to purchase that part that this smart mind deduced that I needed, I’ve left out the possibility that God could have fixed it first – or at least given me the intuition to witness that I had everything I needed to fix it, right here (which, believe it or not, is normally the case).
Point being, before you go and attempt to fix something because you think you’re smart enough to, give God a chance. Take a moment to rely. Be the newborn and look to your Creator for help (for healing), like you did your parents when you were a child. Let go of using past history to solve the future’s problems. The only reason why problems exist is to make us rely on Dad (and each other). Otherwise, why would they exist at all?
What some may call miracles, you will call Co-creation. What some may call unbelievable, you will call faith. What some may ridicule, you will make real. What others have lost their worth to and separated themselves from forever, you will become. Noah built a boat and everyone laughed at him. Noah didn’t think like everyone else and everyone ridiculed him. Noah relied upon God to do the right thing - everyone else was too smart for that. In the end, those who laughed first, didn’t get a chance to laugh last. Essentially, those who relied upon God were saved, those who didn’t took a bath. In the end, the intelligence of humans gave way to the Power of God.
As it should be.
I have evolved from an innocent child, to a man of intellect, to a man of reason, to right back to being the innocent child again. The circle is complete. Life is too short for war and hate and bigotry and prejudice. Life is too precious to waste on blaming others for your misery.
Now is the time to invite Dad into your life and then rely upon Him as you relied upon your parents... and we’ve all had to do that at one time or another. We’ve all experienced reliance. It’s only our egotistical selves that tell us we can do it all by ourselves. And that’s what causes the separation in the first place, which keeps God on the sidelines,
Love God thy Father with all thy heart, all thy mind and all thy soul and love thy neighbors as thyself. That’s the rule on living. Come to rely on Dad for even your every breath. That’s the rule of life… everlasting. God bless you and may this last bit of thinking, bring to you all that you’ve ever dreamed of. With Dad, all is possible. What a path.
In an experiential world, the only true way to know something is to experience it. EXPERIENCE SPIRITUAL RELIANCE.
God realization:
the perspection of making God real
The last few years have been an absolute rush (some good, some not so good). During these tumultuous times I’ve read a ton of books, but something in my intellect seemed to be missing. I taught myself about more stuff than I even care to think about, but I still felt incomplete. I’ve done some darn good feats and achieved some truly outstanding accomplishments, but still, something in my self-esteem seemed to be lacking. The only way I could describe it would be the feeling of hollowness, of not being complete. What’s missing? What could it be? In these times of uncertainty, I’ve come to trust my bookshelf to provide me with the exact information that I need to overcome my quandaries. To achieve these profound answers, I close my eyes, reach for a book, arbitrarily open it up to nowhere in particular and begin reading. This method always seems to work and this time was no different.
This day I chose a book that I was kind of familiar with and opened it up towards the back – the phrase “God realization” jumped right off the page and emblazoned itself into my forehead. Now I’ve read this book at least three times before and I don’t ever remember reading anything about “God realization.” The article didn’t go much further than the statement itself. There really wasn’t any clear writing about what it is or how one goes about getting it or doing it or using it or whatever.
But, like a good student, I read the pages in front of me carefully, only to have them all jumble together and guide my eyes right back to the words, “God realization.”
Over the next couple of days that phrase really stuck in my mind. I was very curious to find out what it is or does or how I can go about getting it. Well, as I so often do in these times, I turned to God for my answer. (But, why do I always wait so long?) One night just before going to bed, I asked God to tell me what “God realization” is or does or whatever. I tried staying up to get the answer, but alas, sleep had other thoughts.
The next morning though, brought a personal feeling of hope and insight. It’s very difficult to explain the feeling in words. Something felt okay, positive, more complete, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. I had an inspiration to write about this feeling, but a “presence” came over me and suggested that I instead, go back to my bookshelf, pull out a Bible and open it up to Peter and start reading. Again, a feeling inside was telling me that I was about to gain wisdom by traveling over some familiar ground.
Hence, 1 PETER 4:7 – 11
The end of all things is near. Therefore, be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Wow, then came the answer - “God realization.” Before I speak, what if I thought that the very words I am about to speak would be the very words that God would say, if He were to speak at all? And then to actually think that every thing that I’m doing, every muscle that I’m moving is not just me doing it – it’s God, too! Then no matter what I thought, if God were speaking through me and also working every movement with me… well, what problems could We not overcome? What could possibly stand in the way of Us? ‘Quite a thought,’ I thought. With that in mind, I headed out for the day.
That day was one of the roughest ones I’d ever had in lawn care; I was aerating, power raking and fertilizing. (Mostly power raking - an absolute hellish mess of a service to provide, for those who don’t know it.) What a day! The first job offered me enough obstacles to quit right then and there. The yards were very steep and horizontally narrow and were surrounded by ruthless corral fencing. Rocks and little pebbles were everywhere, along with parked cars. Then to make things worse, just as I was offloading my equipment, a carpet truck pulled up and parked right in front of the only entrance to one of the corralled yards. He left me only enough space to get my machines through and I had to go over railroad tie landscaping to do it! Aaaaahh!
‘Surely if I were to realize God today, it would be something a little more pleasing than this!’ I thought. But no, all these challenges right off the bat and I had no one here to help me. ‘Could it get any worse? …And now they’re putting stuff on my path.’ I was getting depressed, but then, like a jolt of electricity came the thought ‘Wait a minute, today is God’s day on Earth – through me – and God just wants to make it worth His while to experience it… and give me a great seat to view it from!’
Over the next 10 hours, I power raked three of the most incredibly difficult yards I have ever done and also aerated another 8 yards and each of those had their own unique little challenges. Never has my truck had so much thatch dumped into it. I remember at one point thinking ‘I’d just about give anything for a level yard,’ but then came ‘Nope! It’s not just me doing this, It’s God, too!’ Then all of a sudden the yard was done. I got home long after sunset and finished every job on my list for that day. I didn’t hobble back to the house (like I sometimes do) and I didn’t have to stretch out my back and get it to pop – it actually felt pretty good! Now that’s what I call Co-creating!
For the entire day, whenever I perceived a possible obstacle (mental or physical) to my simple and easy day of life with God, I remembered that it wasn’t just me doing it; Dad was doing it, too! No kidding. Not only wasn’t I very tired, I wasn’t even angry (like I would normally get)! After all, what could I be angry about? On the toughest day that I can ever remember, I remembered God. He carried my burden and helped me to think good thoughts. And let me say, that remembering came none too soon.
God truly helped me to become aware of a potential in me that was previously untapped. Only my thoughts and ego-built prison walls, which I personally constructed around myself, have kept me from experiencing what I just experienced. That whole day I never argued my limitations once – not because of physical pain or landscaping lunacies or lack of time or nothin’.
By relying upon my Creator for my every step, my steps became lighter and my breathing wasn’t so heavy. My back didn’t ache anywhere near what it normally does. I was stronger and smarter. I did some yards differently than usual and things seemed to work out better.
Whenever I came upon something that would normally get me angry, I simply thought ‘Now how would God handle this situation?’ Then I stood back and watched me do things effortlessly and easily and simply and smartly. I was truly amazed at me. But then, it wasn’t just me, it was God, too. I let God be my pilot and my only real burden was to get through traffic safely with a truck and trailer. Thank You Father for removing those burdens (especially that one – You’re a very good pilot).
“God realization,” what a concept. It’s amazing that it took me over 40 years to come to real-ize God – to make God REAL. Only when I consciously brought Him through (actually called forth the Spirit from within), did I ever get the chance to truly realize His power (my power!) and witness it first hand! I asked Him for my “God realization” three days ago and believe me, on this day I witnessed it!
Thank you, Father, for answering my prayers in such a swift and subtle, yet powerful way. Thank you Peter (and Jesus), for helping me to realize God by instructing me with your words. Thank you self, for making it all possible.
If you think about it, can you really know much about something, if you don’t even know that it’s there? Can you learn anything from something that you’re not even aware of? No. This is why God sends these messages. He wants you to know Him, personally. He wants you to live a life of awareness – being aware of Him, in you. God simply wishes that you use Him in your daily struggles to make your burden lighter, through faith. (I’ll say this, I saw myself doing things today in ways that I would never have before considered – everything seemed to flow. I finished every job one step at a time and never once gave a thought about the rest of them or if I had the time to finish them or how much nicer it would be if I had another person helping me - you know, stuff like that.)
God wants you to take His Source with you no matter where you go and use it no matter where you are. He wants you to know that He’s inside of everyone... everyone. Give a moment to contact your Father and check out His will and see if It’s in alignment with yours. Please know that God’s Will is about making your burden lighter – not just your load, but also your Lamp.
It’s not about control, it’s about release - a kind of giving back of one’s sovereignty. It’s about re-connecting one’s self to The Source of All Life. Then once the decision to act is made, stand back and witness your Co-creative power.
And concerning everyday life? Make yourself responsible (that’s able to respond) to God’s thoughts, words and deeds. Ask yourself, “What would Love do (or not do) in this situation?” Then do it, or not. “What would Love say (or not say) in this situation?” Then say it, or not. At those times, take a moment to see how you’ve changed from what you used to say or do. Do you see how simple life’s instructions are? Consider God before you speak, and think the task is already accomplished before you even start it (because no thing can stand in the way of God). Then work together and watch the miracles unfold in a very natural way. People will think that it’s just you, but you’ll know different. In this state of existence, you and God actually become One Being. Think about that for a moment.
And in that moment, another realization may come to you – “human realization” - the making real of limitations and arguments and hate and war. The forgetting of God and who’s responsible for it all, anyway. And more terribly, the forgetting of Who We Are, where We came from and what We’re all supposed to be doing here in the first place.
If we have problems in our lives, it’s because God IS NOT in the solution. Look at the easy things in your life – it’s there that God is carrying you. It is in those moments that we find confidence and self-worth and move through life with ease. Those with issues however, think it’s all about them. It is not. It is about being both. Without God, we live a life of confusion. With Him, we are clearly His limitless possibilities in the flesh.
Time to change perspection - it is no longer “I”; it is now “We.” It is not “me”; it is “Us.” The absolute profundity of this can only be realized once the choice is made to do it – and that choice will be the most PERSONAL choice you’ll ever make.
Life is for giving, not for getting. We are not separate from each other, we are all blood relatives. We are all one big family. Treat each other like family does. Love each other like family does. Care for each other like family does. Have compassion and empathy for one another as family does. It’s only our political, religious, intellectual and ideological concepts that have somehow or another, someway or another, made us see our neighbors as people who are separate from us.
What we judge in another, is alive and well in each and every one of us.
Also know that you are NOT separate from God. A piece of Him (think of an Angel) is in you – is you. So, whenever you’re in need of your Higher Self and need some light to shine through, here’s something you can say or sing to get Dad’s attention. Once you do, get ready to witness your own personal miracle:
Be with me oh Lord, be with me this day.
Be with me in thought and all that I say.
Be with me in deed, for all that I need.
Be with me, please Father, on this joyous day.
May the Holy Spirit descend over you and bring clarity into your day. May the loving warmth of Nature touch your Spirit and bring you closer to Her. May your mind open to the possibility that all truths are in the mind of the beholder. Lastly, may you wake up tomorrow morning and finally come to realize what’s important – then do something about it.
Who am I? Where did I come from? What on Earth am I supposed to be doing here? …Well, it’s a start.
May God bless you and keep you on your path.
(Many ask why it is so necessary to make God personal.
Well, if God were not personal, how could we ever TRULY
know of family?)
the perspection of “being”
At some point in my life (a while back) I reasoned this formula for living – Think, Act, Be. (Well actually, I take no credit for it; that concept got dumped into my head and just now wound up coming through my fingertips onto this keyboard.)
I reasoned that if we could all just be aware that almost no human actions take place on Earth without a thought preceding them, then we could finally recognize the thinking that’s making us do what we’re doing. We must think before we act, then we can all become that beautiful Being that we really and truly are. I mean it only makes sense, right?
Oops, forgive me, too much mind. The mind of God is greater than the mind of hu-Man. Therefore, no hu-Man will ever ascend to the mind of God until he loses his mind - first. No joke. There is no way to consider God’s thoughts through our own rationalizing and reasoning means – no matter how good, the good common sense is; no matter how pure, the purely perceptual thoughts are.
Somehow, someway we are going to have to “be” something that we cannot think about first. We can’t even base our instincts upon this “state of being”, because we can’t smell it, taste it, touch it, see it or hear it. (Which all requires the thoughts of interpreting the thoughts about what we’re instinctively experiencing, anyway.)
And you know, we can’t even talk about it, because we don’t have a language that can adequately express our feelings, in the first place. Ever see someone trying to describe an indescribable moment? Time to ramble!
In fact, we can’t even think about acting out what we’re trying to become, because we’ve never done it before and have no history to base the becoming on. Therefore, of the three, only one remains – Be. (“…therefore, be perfect...”)
We can’t reason it, or rationalize it, or educate it, or effort it. We can’t talk it, we can only walk it. Being - without thinking, without doing or acting. Lord, I must be out of my mind. Exactly.
Note: If upon trying this, you find simple beingness to be an impossible way of life and need a little more chaos to spice things up, may I suggest the following – reverse the order. First be, then act on it and think about it and let your ego continue to convince you that you can use your logical, intelligent mind to get you to God.
Living the life of knowing is upon us. But we must first be out of our minds to do it.
a little perspection about the end…
The end. Sounds pretty final, doesn’t it? The end. Does it come ALLATONCE? Or does it come s l o w l y o v e r a l o n g p e r i o d o f t i m e ? Is it something to be feared or praised? Will it be full of dark gloomy death robots or rainbows and waterfalls? I will say this about my ending, it’s not going to have any of that end times or end of the world garbage in it. So if you’re looking for one here, you’ll need to find another source for your fear.
Look, at no time in the history of history has life on Earth resembled what we have today. There have never been more people on this Earth than right now. (…And do you think these more than 7,000,000,000 people live evenly distributed around the planet?) There have never been more births and deaths than there are right now. (There’s probably not a mortician around that’s had a hot dinner in months.) There’s never been more money, yet there’s never been greater debt. At any moment in your day you can “tune into” a place that’s a half-a-world away and witness true human struggle and strife, then click it off and go pop some popcorn in the microwave. Now that’s an incredible thought.
Look at the news, there’s never been more hurricanes, tornadoes, twisters, floods, droughts, blights, insect damage, famine, sickness and misery than right now. They all say it; “Never in recorded history has this area seen such a catastrophic event…” or listen to the people and you’ll hear them all saying “I can’t remember it ever being this bad, or hot, or wet, or generally downright crappy.” Streetlights are out of whack. The weather is out of whack. The Earth is out of whack. Most of our backs are out of whack. If there’s any reason to think that this is the end times, it’s because it’s looking a lot like a top does just before it falls over and spins out. But these are just the symptoms, they’re not the problem – you are.
This is where the future goes from one of hopeless despair, where your life is totally dependent upon others, to one of rainbows and waterfalls, where you have all the power that you need. These are the best of times AND these are the worst of times. These are the times when all of our truths are going to be put to the test and if you have ears, I hope you hear this:
Argue man’s law NO MORE, for it will make you poor. Ascend to God’s Law without a judging hitch and you will be RICH. God’s law, you know, the Red Words.
We must keep faith that God is still in charge and He knows what’s going on. We must let go of everything that’s making us fearful and despondent. God is no illusion and neither are His children. Unfortunately His children have forgotten who He is and they’ve created “systems” that have no basis in Him… and that my friend, is the problem. Those systems are destined for entropy - they can’t run forever. Those systems are an illusion. And the farther and faster out of whack things get, the greater the “snap” back to Natural reality will be. We may not have any physical control over the Amazon rain forests, but we do have control over ourselves and our habits and generally downright crappy tendencies. So stop them. Stop them now, please.
There is little doubt in my mind that things are going to get worse before they get better. Wars will be fought and people will die. And more people will get sucked into that illusion and more people will die. Right now, many people exist to do harm to their neighbors and they do it because everybody’s doing it and in the end, they won’t be held responsible for their actions anyway, because they’re just following orders.
Many agencies and factions exist (even in America) that are specifically designed to get you upset, making you want to do something about it. Beware of the marketing that exists to make you do this. Think before you act, please. Think.
Although it may appear inevitable that we end up destroying ourselves because of concepts that say that that’s the “right” thing to do or the prophecies that claim the inevitability of it - I however, believe that we won’t. I have great hope that people will wake up and realize what they’re doing to their neighbors in the name of words on a sheet of paper and stop it. I also believe that all those creating this chaos and misery will wake up one morning with guilt that may be impossible to live through. In that case, please don’t punish yourself, just begin the restitution process and help put this world back to the way it was intended. You are forgiven.
In the end, I believe the following will happen:
People will no longer create fear to get their own way.
Governments will be reinstated to their original purpose and will no longer exist to control and punish their people.
Human nature will exist in HARMONY with Mother Nature and humans will no longer try to own and control what is not theirs.
People will finally recognize that their neighbors are their family and compassion and empathy will abound – prejudism, racism, human intolerance and ignorance-induced pain will disappear.
Technology will explode with new and wonderful things that help our environment and not hurt it. No longer will fear be in control to limit technological achievements and keep us in the dark ages, which is continually destroying our environment.
No longer will people look at themselves in the limited political way that they’ve been programmed to. We will see each other as equal – just as God sees us.
Time will end, which will put an end to all of mankind’s need for greed, power and material wealth.
All of man’s concepts that don’t include God (what I call illusions) will come crashing down. All of them.
We will turn one to another for comfort and help, finally realizing that we’re all that we’ve got! Everyone will realize that we are all brothers and sisters and that we need to love and care for one another just like we would for any of our own family members.
And “I’m sorry, I didn’t know…” will be the words we hear the most - as well as say.
In the end for sure, we will remember. We’ll remember Who We Are, Where We came from and what the heck We’re doing all this for, in the first place. It will be easy to see who’s remembered and who has yet to – just look for the peaceful ones; a glowing light all around them also gives them away.
That’s it. That’s the test the future is going to bring. It’s going to come in as many forms and in as many versions as there are people bringing it on. It all basically comes down to a single choice in life: will you perceive what’s happening from a relative perspective where judgment is required and emotional attachment is needed to fully understand what’s going on? Or will you choose to love the moment as a wondrous miracle of God? That is the absolute world of love. The first one is the world of relativity. May you choose wisely.
Will you have more faith in God or in what your senses are telling you? I guess, in the end, that’s what it’ll all be about.
If you don’t want horror in your life, stop talking about it. If you don’t want the bad things to happen, then stop gossiping and spreading rumors about them. If you hate all the deception and stealing in the world, stop doing that, too. These are the days of instant karma, where we get to instantly find out if we’ve been naughty or nice. Truly what goes around, comes around… right now. Simply put, we get what we give. We get what we give. Savvy? Remember the mirror?
Until the end of time as we know it, fear is going to be a part of us. That’s it. That’s the way it goes. That’s the law. But, it will be our personal choice as to whether or not we’re going to let it rule over our every moment. The sooner we realize that we ultimately have the power to make the changes within, the changes that we’ve always hoped and prayed for outside of us will finally materialize. Here on Earth, in this warped-out Shakespeare play, that’s the way it works. So many think it’s the other way around.
Perhaps the greatest piece of wisdom I can pass on, is this:
CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS
AND YOU’LL CHANGE YOUR WORLD.
And that folks, ain’t no sack of garbage to be put out by the curb on a Tuesday morning.
the Louie list
A friend of mine happens to be so enlightened, so powerful and confident, that he believes all he needs to do is write down on a piece of paper a list of his wants and needs and with that simple act, they will be provided. And they are.
He did it to meet his wife. He did it to get an RV. He does it for many things.
Want to know how he does it? First, he believes in it. He also believes that everything he’s asking God for, he deserves. Then he goes about SPECIFICALLY identifying his wants and needs in writing. Then he waits for the synchronicities to happen, which will bring it to him.
Many people would use the logic that making a list that specific only limits the possibilities of anything actually happening. They have yet to understand that this letter is a form of creation. In other words, being specific isn’t a request, it’s a requirement.
Here’s a good example: Dear God, I need a home. I must move on from where I am. I need the home to be a house, one big enough for all my stuff. I need a place to play my drums and not have neighbors too close. I want trees and a fenced yard for Charlie to play in. I can afford $650 a month. And if it’s all right, I also want a hot tub. Yours…
(In one of the most stressful times of my life, I wrote that letter.) Less than 30 days after writing my Louie list, I moved into my new home (well, it was 100 years old) – not too far from where I moved out of. And yes, it even had a jet tub in the bathroom and a basement where I play my drums. How did I know it was for sale? I was told so.
And uh, one more thing, because of circumstances incurred in the past, the wisdom of man told me that I would never be able to own my own home ever again. However, the Power of God showed me that through Him, all things are possible.
remember the indigos
Not so very long ago, a few souls (billions to be exact) were all guided to one place to listen to an instructor. As the souls anxiously awaited the arrival of the teacher, they excitedly chatted amongst themselves wondering what this great meeting was going to be all about.
Then in walked the Great One. “Greetings, my family!!” He shouted with the roar of a thousand lions.
“Greetings, Oh Great One!!!” The millions upon millions of anxiously awaiting souls cheered back. (With great joy, I might add.)
“I’ll bet you are wondering why I have called you here today. Well, I have just received the utmost important orders from On High and was instructed to pass them onto you immediately.”
“What are they?!” The roomful of Lightness spoke.
“You are to change the world below. You are to dismantle all the concepts, which your brothers and sisters have created, that are destroying Earth Herself.”
Secondly, you are to make disappear everything that has appeared in the names of your Mother and Father, which have no basis in your Holy Parents.”
“Lastly, you are to bring down the disempowering systems, which have manifested on Earth, while going about your own lives, unaffected by the events, which are soon to happen. This I have been instructed to give you. This you will do. And you will do it all, after having forgotten everything I just told you.”
“But, HOW, Oh Great One?” Many, many souls were confused. Many began arguing amongst each other, debating how this was going to happen and what they must do to MAKE it happen.
After much waiting and allowing for the souls to greatly ponder the requests laid before them, the teacher finally spoke as clearly and intently as these souls had ever heard anyone speak. “You are the Parts of the Great Spirit, Your Holy Parents, which carry an energy humans know as Indigo. You are the second highest form of energy that will exist on Earth at the time of your birth. You will be known as rebellious and many experienced souls will do their best to make you conform – but you will not. It is not in your nature to go against God’s Common Sense. Having passed through the veil of forgetfulness, once born, you will not understand this, but deep down inside, you will know it to be true.”
Then the teacher turned his back to his students and spoke to the ethers, “Father, I have passed on Your request. They are ready. Send them off with special gifts that their older brothers and sisters have yet to develop. Give them the courage to sustain the onslaught of judgments against them. And please give them the strength to stay – to not want to terminate their field trips and come Home.”
In a most soothing, yet resounding way, A Great Presence made Itself known. “You are My Children. I love you beyond even what You may know. Go to My Daughter and make Her clean again. Right those wrongs that have been done in My Name. Remove all the illusions that have no basis in Me. And most importantly, do this by NOT imposing one photon of Your will.”
A great moment went by where nary a whisper was heard. All souls sat pondering how this was going to be done. “How in Heaven’s Name are we going to fulfill God’s wishes, WITHOUT making people change?” Many, many souls deeply pondered this quandary.
The teacher surveyed the room and saw all the troubled souls before him. Then he grinned a huge grin, spread out his arms and proclaimed…
“BY DOING NOTHING.” His joy overtook Him.
remember Me and you will remember Thee
Thou asked me why I do this? Why do I create that which you hate? ‘Tis not me oh Lords, but thee.
In a moment, very long ago, you came to me and proclaimed me as your Host. You begged to serve me in such a way that none has before. “What can we do for Thee, oh Lord? What ultimate act of our undying love can we do to serve Thee in such an honorable way that will only exalt Thee to even greater heights?”
I asked if you would be willing to go unto a place that no other part of Me has ever gone. A place where freewill is absolute and every action has a consequence.
“Yes! Oh Master, yes!” You all chimed out.
Then I asked if you would be willing to separate yourselves from yourselves - from Me - in order to find your way back to Me.
You asked, “How Host? How can we ever separate ourselves from what we are? From You?”
I told you that you would be made to forget Me; that you would be made to even forget who you are. And this forgetting will be absolute, save the heart. In your hearts, you will find Me. You will feel Who I Am, which will lead you to remember Who You Are. And through your feelings, through love and light, you will find your way back Home. I told you to follow your hearts and you will see The Path quite clearly.
“Yes, Oh Great One. We will go to this place and serve Thee through remembrance of Thee. And we will do our best to open our hearts and eyes to Thee and Thy Will.” You told me in such Harmony, such Grace.
I told you that this was just a Play; just a choice of creation on My part that you may partake.
You cried out, “We will remember! We will bring Your Paradise to that place. We will honor Thee above all and we will love each other and cherish each other as a family. And we shall play!”
I told you about darkness, but you just didn’t understand.
“Your love will light The Way and it will conquer all!” You sang back.
I told you that it might be best to tell no one else of this Stage Production. For there are Other Parts of Me, which think rebellion is a bad thing. You may receive resistance from Them.
“We promise to love Them with all Your heart, oh great Master!” You quickly gave Me your oath.
I told you that you will witness things that are not of light. You will try to change those things.
“No. Never, oh great One.” You so confidently replied. “We know that all are You and You are all. We know that You would only put them on our paths to test us to love and then feel what we feel when love overcomes. No. Never, oh great One. We love You far too much to ever do that.” You reassured me.
I told you the place that you are going to, has both absolute love and absolute fear. It will be up to you to love no matter what fear you are feeling.
“We are ready, oh Lord!” You sang back.
Lastly, I told you that all My power would come to you through your honoring of Me. And all my wisdom and courage will come through your acts of love for Me.
“Yes! Yes, oh Lord! Your love above all! We will love You forever and honor You in all our deeds. We will serve Thee to the very end!” You yelled back. Then you all began to cheer and sing about my glory as I sent you away.
Somehow, I still don’t think you quite understand.
the cry of the phoenix
i am rising phoenix.
i was born to experience life, through service.
i came in asking for what i got and i asked for quite a bit.
i am a dual being-
one of the physical, one of the not-so-physical.
one requires air, food and water, the other… faith.
i am rising phoenix.
i have become aware of the illusion of words.
liars, cheaters and thieves exist to teach me of this illusion.
i am no longer a victim of expectation.
i now know that without victims, i could never know of responsibility.
i am rising phoenix.
i am aware of many truths.
why? why am i and i alone, to know… to see?
why is it so easy for me to point fingers and relate?
anger and frustration have become all too willing allies.
am i remembering that i’ve lived all of those lives before,
and just want to end the suffering?
“IT IS ENOUGH THAT YOU KNOW” are the only words i hear.
i am rising phoenix.
i am not a victim.
there are no such things as accidents or coincidences.
i have the power within me to change my world.
i was not put on this earth for another.
i release all control, outside of myself, over to GOD,
and claim responsibility for my honorable life.
i am rising phoenix.
i am rising on a path that only GOD and i know about.
faith is my guide and responsibility, integrity, courage and honor are my guideposts.
i have remembered that GOD created us all,
and we each have different paths to walk.
it is not mine to judge another.
i am rising phoenix.
i am a magnificent bird, re-born, rising above the flames of my essence, my origin.
i am a divine spark on a quest for my holy grail… ME.
i hope to serve me well.
GOD be with me.
LOVE be with me.
PEACE be with me.
faith resides where Home is
There once was a curious young lad, who paid no attention to what’s right in front of him. He was always way too busy looking for what’s coming next and rarely appreciating what he had. One day, he grew old enough to leave his Father’s Home and go out into the world. Excitedly, the son prepared for his departure. However, just before leaving, his Father told him to not forget where his Home is, where his roots lie and that all things are possible here at Home. The son unfortunately, was way too busy thinking of worldly things to have listened to his Father… and off he went.
After a considerable time in the world, the now young man was finding it difficult to live. You see, he’d found it nearly impossible to make it on his own, so he placed his faith in those people around him who he had considered his friends, or at least those who (he thought) had his best interests in mind. And for his efforts he was rewarded with deceit, frustration, pain and a little bit of friendship and love.
During this worldly time, he’d held many jobs, one for the government, some for private companies and a few he ran himself. But it always seemed that the “perfect” job was always one job away. Whenever he thought things were great, a supervisor would make his life miserable. Or when he was self-employed, the terrible weather or his machines breaking down always seemed to ground him. He thought at some point he could gain control over these things, but until then, he knew that he must tolerate them all.
Please understand that this was civilization, the place where everyone was, where everything was happening. But sadly, it’s also a place where life equates to conveniences and status. And “The Authorities” exist to keep everyone safe from each other. After a while, he noticed that his life was extremely regimented. He also noticed that the world society determined when he would work and vacation; what he would think; how he should act; who he must hate; where he needed to live and how much of his soul was owned by them. But he was also safe from world aggressors and wrong political views, which he freely traded most of his freedoms for.
Then one day, the middle-aged man pondered his existence and realized that this was NOT his Home! This was NOT where his roots lie! He began asking, “Where am I and how did I get here?” “How on Earth did I get so confused as to forget where my Home is?” “How could I even forget my own Father?” At that moment, like the rush of an oncoming ocean wave, the son was buried under the truth that he had placed his faith AND future in man and not in his Father; that he had spent his life chasing after money and material possessions, instead of pursuing happiness and love at Home; and that he had spent his life’s energy arguing what’s not, instead of peacefully living what is.
Well, this revelation brought out great rage in the son. Since he could now see, he fully expected everyone else to see, too. “How can man enslave man?” “How did government come to punish us instead of protect us and serve us?” “How do words of man have more power than the Laws of God?” At times, opportunities arose where the authorities imposed their will upon the son, which made him ask “How did you come to own me?” They refused to answer that question, but proved that they did, by proceeding to punish him by taking away more money. This really made the son feel even more frustrated, angry, violated and cheated.
Then one evening he got on his knees and begged, “Dear God, doesn’t anyone realize that we’re all ONE FAMILY? Can’t they see the utter destruction that they’re doing to one another in the name of security and law? Can’t they just open their eyes and wake up to see the horror of it all?”
Just then a bright light appeared before him, it was his Father saying “Son, fear not. Even governments forget whom they owe their existence to. Besides, their actions helped you to remember The Truth. Do not judge those who assisted you in remembering Me. Forgive them, for they have helped bring you back to Me. Bless them as I do for opening YOUR eyes and come on Home.”
At that moment, the son turned around, cleaned up his shop, walked through the door and left all his frustrations and rages behind. And with a smile and great faith and joy in his heart (and with his trusted companion at his side) he followed the path back Home – not with pride, but with humility. Not as a Conqueror of the Dark, but as a warrior for peace. Not with something to prove, but with an inherent knowing of what is to come.
i am rising phoenix and so are you. May God bless you and keep you on your path… back Home.
in closing,
a new time is upon us, one that will be as unpredictable as ever. no longer can old paradigms be relied upon to satisfy our needs. no longer can we look to the future, forsaking today. the act also known as, “the turning away.”
my hope is that one day we will all wake up to remember Who We Are, Where We Came From and come to the understanding of WHAT ON EARTH WE’RE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING HERE. and one day maybe, come to live in love, instead of fear.
oh, one more thing, don’t rush yourself. your Higher Self knows exactly how fast you should be traveling. It knows exactly what you need and when you need It. don’t worry. just know that when you tell Yourself, “Okay, I’m ready.” you will be.
God bless. God speed. out of the flames we go.
“It is the fires of doubt that you are burning through rising phoenix. Have faith that you are as you claim. Then have the courage to follow your claim. And then always have the presence of now, to live as you claim.”
