For the children of Light, who are here to change the world.
Although you may have forgotten, your job is to bring Heaven to Earth.
Don’t give up, we’re all counting on you.
“Does it take a death to learn what life is worth?”
Jackson Browne
As Brian lay in bed that night, he tossed and turned over the possibility of actually meeting the King of the Lizzies, Himself. "Oh man. To meet a King, any King, has got to be something." He reminded himself out loud, so he could hear his own destiny, and maybe, just maybe, come to consciously believe that it can even happen at all.
"But what if I don't want to meet Him? What if I don't want to bring the darkness to me?" Brian again wondered out loud.
'Brother, you are the Light and Darkness totally surrounds your Light. In fact, it actually helps to define It. So, no matter where you look from now on, if you are not observing the Light, you will be looking at the Darkness. And right now, the Darkness wants to have a conversation with you. Something quite unusual and almost unheard of.'
"He can't hurt me? He can't sneak around me and deceive me with his darkness?" Brian was trying to get his courage up.
'Only if you allow it. Brother, bring the Light of Truth and Love to you – from within. See It shining Its brilliant whiteness within you and all around you. See It engulfing you and leaving no shadows cast upon you. You are the Light and Darkness can never overcome your Light, unless your Light is intentionally turned off. Do you understand?' T hoped that he did. He knew this was going to be one of Brian's last bouts with fear. And this time, he was going to be strong enough to face it head on.
Brian got the message. “Okay, I’ll go to bed now. And when we meet in Dreamland, I’ll show you what the Light is.”
After closing his eyes and commanding himself to relax and go to sleep, Brian quickly saw himself with his twin, back at the ranch at Jackson Hole. “I guess we’re doing this on his home turf.” Brian nudged T, with a little tongue in cheek.
“This He may claim as his, but you know better. You know all of this world is you and you are it. That is your greatest advantage. Use it.”
T touched Brian on the shoulder, which transported them back down into the damp basement of the ranch house. There sitting on His throne was The King, Himself. He is a huge cobra snake-looking being, covered with scales, with two extremely muscular arms protruding out. Brian closely observed these features, along with his blood red eyes and his forked tongue, which slithered in and out of his tight-lipped mouth. ‘Awesome.’ He thought. “Good evening, King.” Brian did his best to not only show courage, but courtesy, too.
“Good evening to you and your twin, Brian Obs-s-son.” The King dipped his head slightly, and then returned it upright.
“i am rising phoenix. We prefer that name.” Brian set the first condition.
“Very well, rising phoenix, do you know why I have called you here this-s-s evening?”
“No, I am not really sure. My Higher Self said that you wanted to have a meeting with me. I assume you know the reason why.” Brian was very focused on his thoughts and words, being careful to not let any stray.
“It is because you no longer hate me. I am dis-s-sturbed. Why do you no longer hate? With all the misery and pain and s-s-suffering and death I have brought to your planet, why do you not hate me now?”
“Because I know you’re a part of me. So, I have to live with you. Which makes me have to live with the part of me that wants to be you.” Brian paused for a moment to gather his thoughts. “And I don’t hate you anymore, simply because, I refuse to hate myself anymore.”
“Can you no longer give into those cravings for power and justice? Will you no longer be frustrated with the abs-s-solute ignorance out there? Are material possessions not a good enough reason to live anymore?” The King sounded a bit alarmed at Brian’s calmness.
“I guess I can always choose to go back to your way, but I don’t see me doing that in the next foreseeable eternity.”
T was really impressed with his brother’s ability to stay cool under pressure.
“Do you not have any more need to change me from my abominable ways? Do you not s-s-see that I am Darkness-s-s Its-s-self, and that I need more Light to achieve what you have?” His tongue was really s-s-slithering in and out now.
“Do you have a need for the Light?” Brian sensed this attempt at deception.
This troubled the King, because he knew no matter what answer he gave, he would be trapped. If he said yes, then Brian would ask him to reach for it. If he said no, then Brian would say that he, in the same way, had no more need for the Darkness. “I am what I am, rising phoenix. Do you not feel the need to correct me and my errors-z-z?”
“Do you feel the need to change?”
Again, Brian had the King cornered; these were pretty tough questions to answer, even for a King. “You know that I will not s-s-stop being the Darkness-s-s.” He hissed back.
“And you know I cannot stop being the Light, for just that reason.” Brian responded with great self-confidence and total self-worth.
“Are you not corruptible? Is there nothing that I can s-s-seduce you with, nothing that I can provide you with to make you feel better?”
“So, you can take it away from me later and make me feel bad again?” Brian replied nearly laughing. He was totally into understanding the King’s game.
“You smile.” The King didn’t like that. “When all the s-s-sickly and malnourished perish, will you not feel s-s-sick and angry ins-s-side? When bombs fall that completely wipe out entire legions of humans with one blow, will you not be afraid? When your own people come to believe in My power, over The Creator’s, will you not build anger and rage ins-s-side of you? Will you not lash out at them for being ignorant to the Light and for refusing to witness their own Darkness-s-s? Will you no longer hate what I am?” The King was working it for all it was worth. And sadly, he knew he was losing it.
“No. Hate generates you, and I won’t do that anymore. And anger and rage simply feed you the richness of retribution. But doubt, worry and disbelief, those are the things you cherish the most. Those are the things that keep you eating away at an unending trough – and keeps me from finding out Who I Really Am. No, I will not sustain you any more King. I know who you are now. Don’t worry though, I won’t be coming after you, but I will be going after the Light. ‘Cause I know now, that when I stand in the Light, I'm standing in a place that you cannot come. A place that is safe from all of your dark concepts and beliefs. A place where peace resonates, not chaos. Where love rules, not fear. A place where everyone is joyful about right now and not miserable, not worrying over an uncertain future, not knowing where you’re going to strike next.” Brian thought for a moment, strengthening his self-worth. “No sir, I will not be your subject anymore. I will no longer serve your needs. I will no longer be your representative on Earth."
“That is s-s-so unfortunate, human.” The Kings slithery tongue was justa’ slappin’. “It is not good for us-s-s that you will not allow us-s-s to feed off you anymore.”
“You’ll need to go feed off someone else, and I’m sure you still have plenty of humans to choose from.” Brian pointed up.
“Yes-s-s, but your anger and rage has been legendary. Your intolerance has s-s-sus-s-stained more than one of us-s-s at a time… sometimes dozens-z-z. To us-s-s, you are worth many more of your own kind, who have yet to s-s-see the Light and generate those tas-s-sty feelings of rage and intolerance that you s-s-so readily have.”
“I hope you enjoyed me while I lasted.”
For T, this was going way better than he had ever hoped.
“But what if many more humans begin to think like you? Thinking that the Dark should be just as bless-s-sed as the Light. That humans should love the Dark and come to give it acceptance, tolerance and mercy. What if all humans should come to realize that they generate their entire world jus-s-st by their thoughts about it? And actually, at times, come to s-s-seek my Darkness-s-s for their own benefit? What if they should all change their thoughts-s-s from fear to love? What would we do then?” The King actually had genuine concern in his voice.
“Well, Your Lowness, I would suggest that you go and find somewhere else to peddle your wares. Because soon, you’re not going to be wanted around here anymore. And then real soon after that, you won’t be needed here, either. And I’m aware, that you’re aware of that. And I sense that it’s scaring your scales right off you.” For once, Brian was feeling his true power. He was ascending to the truth that Light is more powerful than Dark, and that Darkness has no power against the Light, to overcome It. Brian started reflecting the King’s fear back to Him with beams of love and His Lowness was powerless to stop them.
The King became agitated. “You think you are done with me? You think you are better than me and can jus-s-st shut me away with your words-z-z and not have to deal with me every day?”
Brian knew that Darkness was making Its last stand. “No, quite the contrary. I must live with you every day. I must listen to you every day. I must witness you every day. And for this YOU ARE BLESSED. For it is you, who will keep me on the path of Light. It will be by your own deeds, done through your own nature that will keep me living in the Light, by not reacting to the Dark. I will know what I must NOT do, by continually witnessing what you ALWAYS DO. I will use your own nature, not against you, but for me. And because you are bound by your oath to Darkness, I know that you can only think dark thoughts, do dark deeds and be the darkness itself. Having given your word to God, you can do no other.” Brian was really feeling compassion for the King.
Suddenly, the King let out a dreadful, bone-chilling wale. The room instantly filled with a dozen more Lizzies and a few Grays and more snakes and lizards and alligators. All acting out their nature, attempting to scare Brian back into his old ways. Brian stood his ground. T was definitely impressed. The torches burning on the slime-riddled rock walls also added a nice touch to the eerie ambiance.
“Do we not look awes-s-some? Are we not impos-z-zing? Do we not s-s-strike fear directly into your heart when you s-s-see us-s-s?” The King stood and motioned at His minion.
“No. I am not afraid of you anymore. My faith is in God and for whatever reason He deemed necessary, He made sure that you’re here. It’s not my place to disagree with that, only to live with it. I also know that you will not kill me out of your own spite, for I, am your Higher Self. You cannot impose where you are not wanted. The higher dimensions can manipulate the lower ones, once that is realized. I am a Fourth-and-a-Half-Dimensional Being, ascending to the 5th, to the vibration of Love. And you, King, are the lowest form of my mind. The densest of all human thoughts - the emotion of fear. That is your nature, and I am sorry that you have been cast into this role, with no chance of backing out. You are blessed for your service to me. Thank you. But I require your services no longer.”
“You actually feel s-s-sorry for me? How pathetic.” The King sat back down and sent his minion away.
“King, I would hate to be who you are. I would hate to think that my job is to cast Darkness far and wide, instead of the Light. I would dread having an entire race of beings come to hate me for just doing my job. So yes, I feel sorry for you and your oath to God, to uphold and support fear and darkness. It must be a burdensome thing to do.” Brian had turned the tables. He’s now come to fully understand that the King, too, is actually a part of him. “I know now that in order for me to raise my consciousness, I have to love everything - and that includes you. Although I may no longer be your subject, although I may no longer feed you, I do love you. I must. It’s just the way things have to be.”
“This-s-s is totally unacc-c-c-c-ceptable, get them out of here!” The King knew He had lost a valuable food source. He motioned for his minion to do something. With everyone expecting someone else to do it, they all blankly stared at one another, because none of them had the power to make Brian and T leave. “I s-s-said, GET THEM OUT OF HERE!!”
“We’re leaving King, but before I go, I want you to know this; I love you with all my heart and I‘ve come to realize that you represent all the things in my life where love is not - where I have yet to put it. For that, I honor you greatly. I also accept you and tolerate you and most of all, I give you mercy for taking on this awesome burden.” Brian looked up to the heavens. “As God is my Father, let no incident come before me where I do not show you mercy.” Then Brian turned to his twin, “C’mon T, let’s go. There’s nothing else I want to say down here.”
Just as before, T touched Brian on the shoulder, which instantaneously transported them out of the King’s chamber, but this time, they transported to the top of Pike’s Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado. “Whoa!” Brian yelled out as he materialized about 8,000 feet higher than where he was. “I never expected this!" Good thing it’s still summer.
“You have scaled the summit, brother. You have reached your peak. You have made it to a place where very few others have stood. You stood before fear, looked it square in the face and told it that you love it. That you tolerate it. That you accept it and whenever possible, you are willing to give it mercy.”
“Well, I really came to see it for what it is - something that's necessary in order for me to understand what love isn't. Otherwise, how could I truly know what love really is. That's its purpose, its sole reason for existence. What an awesome task.” Brian’s dream mind focused on a little boy huddled up, scared and angry, shaking in the corner of a very dark room.
“Brother, this is very important, you must now at all times be aware of where the Light is and follow It without reason, without logic. You must now evolve yourself to only being the Light, you must no longer chase after the Dark attempting to make It lighter. For if you do, the King and His Minion of Darkness will be waiting for you, and it will be your undoing." T warned. "Maybe you should just consider Him, God’s Darker Side.”
“Yeh, and who am I to try and change God?” Brian agreed. “Yes. No more straying. No more taking a slight detour to argue the Light to the Dark. I can now only be the Light.” Brian paused and took in a deep breath, gaining one more thought. “God had to put a system in place that guaranteed fear would always be here – one that couldn’t be corrupted. And the Lizzies are who He chose to implement it.” Brian drew another large breath and exhaled. “I think I’m ready now. I think I’m strong enough and smart enough to love."
“I have been waiting a long time to hear my twin say that. Now let us just stand here and enjoy the scenery.” T placed his hand on his twin's shoulder and looked out into the infinite.
“I’m with you, brother. I’m with you.”
That next morning was another beauty! Brian jumped up and again grabbed his pad and pen and ran outside to greet the morning. “Good morning, God!” Then he turned and looked down to the sea, “I love you, Gaia!” Then he turned to himself, “I love you, Brian.”
‘Goyly woydz for such a strong, macho guy.’ T sounded like a Chicago gangsta’, again.
“Hey, what’d ya’ say that for? I thought I made a big breakthrough here.” Brian’s shoulders slumped. “Man, ya’ know I thought about saying that for the longest time, and when I finally get up the courage to say it in public, in front of God and everything, you have to go and ridicule me.”
‘I was not ridiculing you; I was merely pointing out to you how far you have come in the last 3 weeks. Farther than you have in 40 years, correct?’
“Yeh, I guess so. Heck, three weeks ago I didn’t even have the courage to tell anyone that I loved them, let alone tell myself, and in public, even.”
‘Public? It is six thirty in the morning and you are standing on a deserted beach, a quarter mile from anywhere.’ T loudly echoed.
“Okay, so you know time and space. What’s your point?”
‘I have no point. I was just attempting to understand the new definition of public.’
Brian’s thoughts changed to a more serious nature. “I’m not afraid anymore, T.” He spoke to the morning clouds. “I know who I am, and I’m not afraid.”
‘EXCELLENT!’ Brian heard a huge splash about 30 feet into the morning mist and figured that it had to be Arcturus. ‘You have just taken your very first step on your brand-new journey, my friend.’
“But why did it take so long? And why did I have to learn so much crap about so much crap, just to finally figure out that all I ever needed to do was love!”
‘The Beatles told you that in a song.’ T re-minded his twin as a faint refrain of All You Need Is Love echoed through Brian’s mind.
“I mean, there were times that I knew it before, but then they’d slip away and I’d get caught right back up in all my dramas, again. One minute I’d be feeling like I’m standing in the Light, the next, I find myself in the dark, totally feeling powerless and insignificant.” Brian paused. “Why, Arcturus? Why is that? What causes that to happen?”
‘Doubt. It is the doubt of self, which causes that darkness. Doubt takes you to a place of victimhood and lack.’
“I only thought that I actively seek out the darkness so I can sleep or to keep the sun from frying my skin. I also seek out this form of darkness, too? Doubt?”
‘Never underestimate the power of doubt. It keeps you in this world of relativity where you can keep learning to answer your own questions. It teaches you humbleness and servitude, but it also puts you in a position to display courage by following your heart and by choosing to live in the Light. But, since no one can live in the Light forever, when they leave It, this is the place they go - to the dark room of doubt.’
“So, I leave the Light every time I talk myself right out of greatness and right into mediocrity.” A weaker statement was never questioned more.
‘Yes.’
“Why do I always do that?”
T sensed his twin’s frustrations. ‘Because you chase sympathy in arguing your limitations, brother. You look for people to put their arm around you and caress you with their positive affirmations, to make you feel better about the whole thing. For whatever reason, instead of choosing the unbelievably miraculous, you always seem to choose the absolutely believably obvious. Now what risk is there in that, oh Field Trip General?’
“I guess I’ve always been aggravated at ridicule. I’ve always had these great ideas, but every time I told somebody about ‘em, and it didn’t matter whether I was in kindergarten or talking to people 35 years later, I got hammered. No one really ever gave me a chance. And I guess I’ve always felt angry about that. I mean, do these people think I’m going to lie to them or what?”
‘Sometimes brother, even a crowbar won't open a closed mind. Besides, if God wanted them to know, they would have already come to you, correct?’ T re-minded his twin.
“So, Arcturus, you think that I’ve just never been satisfied with me knowing what I know? That in order for me to feel really happy, I had to make everyone else know it, too?”
‘Yes.’
“WHY? Why the heck do I keep doing that?!”
‘Because you have doubts about them getting to the 5th Dimension. Because you doubt that God will somehow come through for them. Because since not everyone is on your timetable of enlightenment, you doubt they ever will be. That is why.’
“Doubt is some pretty strong medicine, isn’t it running bear?”
‘The strongest medicine of the Dark Side. Maybe not as volatile as the others, but just as deadly. It is the fires of doubt that you are burning through, rising phoenix. Have faith that you are as you claim. Then have courage to follow your claim. And then always have the presence of now, to live as you claim.’
“No doubt in those words, thanks my friend.”
‘You are welcome, rising phoenix. Call on me whenever you have a question, I will do my best to answer it.’
“So, Arcturus, doubt pretty much exists to teach me what courage is?”
‘Yes, exactly.’ Arcturus replied. ’You cannot fully understand one without the other.’
“And all this doubt that I’ve faced in my life really wasn’t out there, it was in me, believing what everyone else was telling me. And my environment only existed to show me those things.”
‘I hear more chain links snapping.’ T broke another link on the chain he was holding onto, with his thumb and forefinger.
“That’s right, fear is the lowest of the ELF waves, isn’t it?” Revelation revisited.
‘Let us just say that it is the most paralyzing ELF wave. The one that causes the least movement.’
“I see what you mean. It does seem to sit well with people. But it’s always keeping them down.”
‘Pretty sly conditioning, huh?’
“Sly as a snake. Hey, you think that once I start removing all these ELF thoughts out of my mind and start replacing them with lighter, UHF thoughts, that my body will start to lose a little of its density?” Brian pinched a little more than an inch.
‘Good intuition, brother. Maybe now is a good time for you to pass on the darkness, and only consume a light menu. For a little while, anyway.’
“So, you think that I’ve been spending too much time thinking about the dark side?”
'Crow medicine.' running bear quietly echoed.
‘Have you already forgotten Canyon Lake?’ T tried reminding his twin.
Brian thought for a moment on what Crow Medicine might be, then he answered his own Self. “Oh yeh. That’s right, small splashes.”
‘And what happens when you keep splashing?’
“Chaos. No matter how lightly you do it.”
‘Brother, if you are relating to the Darkside then you are existing in the Darkside. If you are seeing only the Light, then you are finally living in the Light.’
“But what about the Dark, though. I mean, don’t you think It wants to see the Light?”
‘Here we go again, thinking that you know best. Thinking that God knows nothing.’
“Wait!” Brian yelled to defend himself, and then he thought about the charges being brought up against him. “Guilty as charged.” He slumped.
‘It is time for you to BE the light. It is time for you to stop separating yourself from yourself in an attempt to show yourself that another part of yourself exists. Your other self already knows it does. Let it be. Let your Other other self now step forward and shine. And part of that shining is forgiveness, acceptance, tolerance and…’
“The giving of mercy. Yeh, I know.”
‘To the other side, the darker side. It cuts time short.’ Arcturus inflected. ‘Good, now that you know that, I think you have reached a point in your life, where you can now stop wishing and hoping and start knowing.’
“Knowing what?”
‘Knowing Who You Are, Where You came from and what on Earth You are supposed to be doing here.’
“It’s really all about my enlightenment, isn’t it?”
‘I knew you weren’t fully sold on that.’ T echoed a sound of disgust. ‘I knew you had your doubts. All the times you have talked about it being just for you, it was actually always about everyone else, was it not?’
“Yeh, you busted me. I guess I’ve been a little bit selfish.”
‘Thinking that you know better than God? I would call that Major League Selfish.’
“I just want so much for everyone to see this. I just want so much for everyone to make it out of here alive.”
‘Believe me brother, we all know that. The problem is, THEY do not. God loves you for who you are, not for what you have done. Do not ever forget that.’
“I’m really not afraid of anything anymore, T. I’m not afraid of the world going to hell in a hand basket, and I’m not afraid of everyone else going on that ride, too. I know I’m not, and right now, that’s good enough.”
‘You have come far, grasshopper Master.’
“Hey!” Brian visualized himself as a kid still learning the ropes.
‘Think about it brother, proportionally, what other living thing on this Earth jumps farther than a grasshopper? Jumps higher than a grasshopper? Covers more ground faster than a grasshopper?’
“Well, without knowing my insectology, I would say not many.”
‘And you would be correct. In some ways, grasshoppers are the envy of all creatures.’
Brian thought of himself again in a different light. “I am a container for the One Consciousness Who Created Everything. I am a building for God to do His work in. And fear no longer resides in this place. The King has left the building!”
‘But never forget brother, he’s always waiting for you just outside.’
"Boy, you sure know how to ruin a revelation celebration."
Brian then pulled out his large pad of paper and pen and started to write down what he hopes to experience in his 2nd Field Trip.

‘I think that is good.’ T commented.
“Really? That’s not very much.” Brian looked back down at this writing.
‘That is about everything if you ask me.’ Arcturus added.
‘Brother, there is something else that we should add, maybe.’
“What’s that?”
‘When you thought of life being a Field Trip, we all jumped for joy. But now you need to look at that concept a little more closely.’
“Like how?”
‘Do you remember all the Field Trips you took when you were going to school?’
“There weren’t that many, but yeh, I think I can remember ‘em.”
‘What are the two things that those Field Trips gave you the opportunity to do?’
Brian thought for a while. “I’m lost, I don’t know.”
‘Is it not true that all your Field Trips allowed you to either observe them or participate in them?’
“I liked the ones that I participated in a whole lot better. I mean they let us touch things and play around. I liked those best.”
‘Better than just sitting in a classroom looking out the windows, wondering whether or not your imagination is anywhere close to reality?’
Suddenly, Brian remembered the movie Made in Heaven and laughed. “No doubt. But, what’s your point.”
‘You need to start looking at your Field Trips like the ones you had back in school. Your first Trip was about your Lizzy Handbook. Would you classify that Trip as observational or participative?’
“Definitely observational. I only thought about what I was looking for. I didn’t actually go out and do anything.” Brian thought for a moment. “And that’s what I should be considering every time I go on a Field Trip, shouldn’t I?”
‘What would you classify today’s as?’
“Well, I darn sure want to do more than just watch, today I want to participate.”
‘Excellent. Put that on top of your page. Put that today’s Field Trip requires participation to get the most out of it.’
Brian then added these words to the top of his pad.

Today I’m going to learn about human relations. How do people interact? What is most important to people? How can I best interact with them?
____________________________________________________
“How’s that, better?”
‘Perfect.’ T echoed. ‘Now might be a good time to do a little mental research and go over some human tendencies that you have experienced in your life.’
“You mean like, first I write them down and then see if I can see them in society and then maybe, somehow participate with them?”
‘Is that not what teachers do before taking their students on a Field Trip? Do they not sometimes prepare the students by doing a little review before going?’
Now Made in Heaven was really in his mind. “Yeh, I’d say a lot more than just sometimes. I’m sure they do it all the time. So, I need to have a review spot on the paper where I can list all the things that I know about the Field Trip already. Then I can look for them when I actually go on it! Great!” Brian then took his pen and added a reviewing section.

‘Good, now you have an area where you can write down your own preconceptions. This will give you a guideline to what you think is going on. Then after the Field Trip, you can compare your notes and see how close or far off you were.’
Then Brian erased a line and added some more stuff to his page.

‘Yes, this looks like it is coming together quite nicely. Maybe from this, you can make a template that you can make copies of, then you can use them every time you take a Field Trip.’
“Good idea.”
‘Now let us look at how you think people interact.’
“Well, normally they speak. Sometimes it’s just their movements. I even heard something one time about something called pheromones.”
‘They are very subtle, but powerful. Very good, add those to your list.’

“Okay, got it. Now I guess I need to think about what’s most important to people.” Brian thought about that for a minute. “Well shoot, that can be anything!”
‘Brother, when you speak, what do you think is the first thing out of your mouth?’
“You mean other than howdy?”
‘Yes, other than howdy.’
“I don’t know… whatever’s on my mind, I guess.”
‘And what do you suppose is on your mind?’
Brian thought for another minute, and then the revelation hit. “Whatever happens to be important to me at the time!”
‘Excellent, now, of all the things that you can say, which do you think you will say first?’
“WHATEVER’S MOST IMPORTANT TO ME! I see, and I’ll bet that it’s the same with everybody else.”
‘So, what is most important to people, oh wise Twin?’
“Whatever they tell me first, outside of hello or something.”
‘Put that on your list.’
Brian wrote down some more words.

“Alright! I feel like I’m really getting somewhere, here. Thanks everybody, thanks for your help.”
‘You are most welcome.’ Arcturus and T replied together.
The voices in Brian’s head seemed lacking. “Where is everybody?”
‘You have yet to interact with them. You have yet to acknowledge them or ask for their service.’
“Well shoot! I don't want to leave anyone out! I always want to get everyone's input." Brian then scribbled out some more words.

Today I’m going to learn about human relations. How do people interact? What is most important to people? How can I best interact with them?
(PRECONCEPTIONS) REVIEW
How do people interact? – Talking, movements, pheromones (scents)
What is most important to people? – Whatever they happen to tell me first… outside of howdy.
How can I best interact with people? – Acknowledge them or ask for their help.
ACTUAL RESULTS

"Thank you all for your help this morning.
'You are most welcome!' An entire chorus of voices rang out in Brian's mind.
“And now I guess it’s time to head on out.”
‘Wait.' T echoed. 'There may be one more subject you may want to consider on your Field Trip today.’
“What’s that?”
‘Family.’
“Family? You mean like this Field Trip needs to be on my family, too? They aren’t even here. They’re mostly up in Washington.” Brian was confused.
‘Human, all humans belong to one family. It is only your political, religious, economic and ideological constructs that are keeping you from seeing that.’
“Okay, let me make out another sheet. You know, you may be right. Having copies of this sure would beat having to write each one out.”

Field Trip #3 – Observe my family
Today I’m going to learn about my family.
ACTUAL RESULTS
____________________________________________________
Brian just stared at his new challenge. “There are a lot of preconceptions out there that I could observe. I’m not sure where to start.”
‘May I suggest that you first observe the way humans act towards their actual family members, as opposed to perfect strangers.’ Arcturus commented.
“You mean like why most people would do for their families, what they wouldn’t do in a million years for a stranger?”
‘Yes. That is a good place to start.’
Brian thought about that for a while and still couldn’t get things going.
T spoke again. ‘Brother, what traits do humans have that constitute their idea of a family? What reactions are displayed by humans between family versus strangers?’
“Well, for sure, most people would get involved if a family member was involved in something. But a stranger, it’s like they don’t even exist.”
‘What about tolerance. How do humans tolerate members of their own family versus strangers?’
“Well from what I’ve seen, people who are seen as family can get away with murder, if those who can do anything about it are of the same family. Otherwise, no way – guilty as charged.”
‘How about acceptance?’
“Right now, I’m thinking about gay men. I don’t know why, but they seem to be fitting this picture. Gay men are dearly loved by their own families. The fact that they have chosen to co-habitate differently doesn’t seem to matter to them. But outside of their own families, it’s looked at like some kind of medical disease that needs to be treated.” Brian's mind took him to the news he's seen recently. "Or to some, a criminal act."
‘So basically, am I hearing that the biggest difference between family members and strangers, is that family members tend to receive tolerance, acceptance and mercy, while strangers are entitled to none of these things?’
“I see your point.”

Field Trip #3 – Observe my family
Today I’m going to learn about my family and how they perceive themselves.
(PRECONCEPTIONS) REVIEW
Traits - Acceptance, tolerance and mercy go to family, but little to none go to strangers.

“How’s that?”
‘I think that will do fine for the subject of family. Now you need to go out into your world and discover the truth about this Field Trip on your own. And please realize that although many humans may tend to fit your preconceptions, in this case, you must not.'
"Yeh, I see your point there, too. Even though I may be witnessing the downside, I always have to keep living the upside. I have to accept, tolerate and give mercy to everyone.”
‘Sometimes a change of scenery helps, too. Now off you go. I will be waiting for you here tomorrow morning.’ Arcturus slapped his tail and swam away.
The next morning, Brian sat for a very long time out by the ocean, without saying a word. He was contemplating everything he’d been through over the last few weeks - all the sorrows and joys and misery and excitement. Including the wisdom he got from yesterday’s field trip. For him, it just seemed right to sit down and review.
‘You have been doing much thinking this morning, rising phoenix.’ Arcturus finally intuited.
“I just seem to be thinking about everything that’s happened to me – everything that’s going on. So much in such a short time.”
‘Are you disappointed or sad about this?’
“NO!” Brian quickly answered. “It’s just that… it’s all come so fast – so much, so fast.”
‘Did you not ask for this to happen?’
“Well, I don’t know if I asked for everything. I mean, T dying, along with all the Yeti and everything else.” Brian sighed.
‘You think you had control over those things?’
“No, I guess not. But still, they were pretty sad.”
‘rising phoenix, are you familiar with the word manifest?’ Lesson time.
“You mean like a list that has all the ship’s cargo on it?”
‘No, I mean like the act of creation.’
“I’ve heard people talk about it, but I never really paid much attention to it. I went to a New Age Fair one time and that’s all everybody talked about – Come learn how to manifest wealth and richness in your life, for only ten bucks. Right.” Brian didn’t have much faith in the new age.
‘That disturbed you?’
“Well, I mean, if you’re going to teach someone how to manifest wealth, health and happiness, but you look like your 50 pounds overweight and are acting a bit anxious like you really need the money to pay your rent, well, it doesn’t put out very good vibes. I mean, if you’re telling someone how to do something, shouldn’t you already be able to do it yourself? I mean, if Jesus would have looked like half of these people and preached all the lessons on healing, I’m sure the people would have walked away and told Him that He really should heal Himself first.” It appears Brian spent more than just time with these folks.
‘For some aspects of life, things are easier said than done.’
“But why are people doing that? Why do they come out and tell you that you can do something, when they apparently have yet to? It just seems a bit hypocritical.” After his experiences, Brian felt this New Age was more like the New Scam, than anything else.
‘Do you wish to learn how to manifest, rising phoenix?’ Arcturus could see Brian was stuck in his judgments.
“Manifest what?” Stuck no more.
‘Health, wisdom, happiness, peace, love, joy, those kinds of things.’
“Well sure! How do I do it?” Brian was actually excited. He felt like Arcturus was going to give him some magic spell that he could use to solve all his problems.
‘By knowing that you already can – that you already HAVE.’
That was no magic spell. “How the heck can I already know it, when I can’t even do it?”
‘rising phoenix, when you see things that you perceive to be evil or wrong, how do you feel?’
“Well, I’m trying not to get angry over it anymore, but sometimes I just can’t help it. Then comes the frustration and rage when I can see the ignorance of it and can’t do a darn thing about it.” That was the template for nearly all of Brian’s anger in his life.
‘So, you manifest anger, correct?’
“Wait. I didn’t manifest anything, it just happens.” Brian meekly defended himself.
‘Keep arguing that, brother, and it is over.’ T was standing in front of a metal clad door, ready to slam it shut.
“So…” Brian pondered. “you’re saying that I’m the one who’s actually manifesting those feelings in me? That I’m the one creating those feelings and not those things out there that I see that are really stupid and ignorant? Me?” The more he spoke, the smaller Brian felt.
‘Human, do you honestly think that an inanimate object has any power over you? Do you really think the actions of other humans, have any power over you?’ Arcturus’ tone changed dramatically.
“Well, when you put it like that, no.” Brian thought of so many times when the emotions of others would just trigger him.
‘Good. Can you not see that you are the one manifesting those feelings based upon what your senses are telling you?’
Brian really thought about that for a while. “And I’m not here to change everyone else, just me. Right?”
‘It is easy for you to manifest feelings of rage, anger and frustration, because you have worked very hard to be able to create them on a whim. You look to be offended. On the other flipper, you have not worked very hard at creating harmony, love, peace and joy in your life. The very things that do not offend.’ Arcturus ducked under the water then came up and blew a bunch of water out his blowhole.
“Yeh, I think you got me there.” Brian found himself defenseless.
‘You got yourself there. I have done nothing, but to try to show you that.’
“So, I’ve been manifesting all this crap in my life?” Brian asked one more time. Thinking, maybe this time, the answer will be ‘no.’
‘Yes. You are responsible for it.’
Dang. “And you’re going to show me how I can replace the crap with good stuff, right?” Brian could see a chard of light shining through the darkest summer storm cloud.
‘Yes, if you are open to it and wish for it to happen.’
“Well, yeh! Bring it on, oh Master Arcturus. Show this lowly human the secret to manifesting goodness, instead of all the crap.” Finally, Brian was going to learn something other than how wrong he’s been living his whole life.
Brian then heard T’s voice in his head. ‘Brother, do you remember our times back at Canyon Lake?’
“Yeh, like they happened yesterday.” The catamaran immediately came to mind.
‘Do you remember when I threw the pebble, the rock, and then the boulder into the water? Do you remember what those actions represented?’
“The pebble was my thoughts, the rock was my words and the boulder was my actions. Right?” Yep, just like yesterday.
‘Uh-huh. Now think of all the times you have witnessed things in your life that have rubbed you the wrong way. Think about how those resistive things manifested in your life.’
“I’m not sure that I follow you.”
‘Did your senses not tell you of these things first? Did you not see evil, hear noises, taste garbage, smell bad odors, and touch the darkness itself?’
“I never really thought of it like that, but yeh, I’d say that’s pretty accurate.”
‘Then did you not think about those things? Did you not think to yourself how bad those things are, based upon how good things could be, instead?’
“Yeh?” Brian wasn’t sure where this was going.
‘Then did you not speak your mind over these things, either to yourself or to someone else? Did you not write your displeasures out? Did you not attempt to find allies to see your point of view? Did you not try to coerce people into believing as you do?’ Theoneius knew his twin all too well.
“I think I see where this is going.”
‘Then, once your words were expressed, did you not then do something towards that goal? Did you not perform some kind of action to prove to yourself that you were right and knew what was best? Did you not physically get angry and enraged and frustrated?’
Brian thought a long time about that, too. “It all starts with thinking, doesn’t it? Then it goes to words and then actions.”
‘Actually, it all starts with awareness. Take time now to review your life and witness how this has happened every time you have gotten angry; Every time you have gotten frustrated; Every time you have become enraged; Every time you thought you knew better and took on a cause.’
For the next few minutes, Brian thought of all the times he’s gotten angry and of all those things that generated, that manifested that anger and rage and frustration. Like when people wouldn’t do what he told them to do. Like the weather going bad in the middle of a show. Like when he saw Americans acting like anything but.
‘Anger, rage and frustration were always manifested when you thought you knew better or that somehow or another, you could fix something outside of your control. These are the two greatest thought-forms, the two greatest allies that anger, rage and frustration have. These are the two greatest forms of Lizzy conditioning that exist on this planet, today. They keep you always wanting to fix things outside of your control. They always make you think that you somehow or another know better, than what you are witnessing.’
“You’re right T, I never thought about that, but you’re right.” The light was shining again over Brian’s head.
‘In order to manifest goodness, love, joy, peace and harmony into your life, you must never again use those dark thought-forms. You must never again think that you know better and that you can somehow fix things outside of your control. Do you understand?’
“I do now. I never really ever thought about that before, it just seemed automatic for me to get angry and frustrated. I’ll work on that.”
‘Do you see how easy it has been for you to manifest resistance? Do you see how automatic it has been for you to create this frequency? Do you see how quickly anger and frustration come to you when they are called upon?’
That one caught Brian sideways. “What do you mean I call upon them? They’re ALWAYS THERE!”
‘So is love. So is peace. So is joy. But only when you call upon them, will they arrive. Otherwise, they will wait for the day when they may be of service to you.’ T had them all lined up like soldiers, ready to do their service.
“Wow, I see that now. I see that I’ve always called on that resistance.” So much for learning something other than what Brian’s done wrong his whole life.
‘And it has never let you down, has it brother?’ T re-minded his twin.
“No. There has never been a time when I’ve thought angry thoughts and spoken angry words and done angry things, when anger didn’t show up. It’s always been pretty faithful.”
‘Now, rising phoenix,’ Arcturus came back into Brian’s mind, ‘how easy do you think it will be for you to manifest the opposite of resistance, the opposite of darkness and futility?’
“A lot easier than what I thought.” Brian felt he was handed a ‘get-out-of-difficult-times-free card’.
‘Exactly. You must begin with your thinking. You must go beyond the simple reactionary thoughts based upon your senses, to the ones behind those thoughts. You must learn to ponder where those thoughts are coming from. Those thoughts of resistance and anger.’
“Something tells me they’re coming from the far side of the moon and helped along by little white rectangles.”
‘Be careful, rising phoenix.’ Arcturus warned. ‘Do not ever think that something outside of you has any power over you. Those resistive thought forms may be getting generated from another world away, but it is only through your receiving and application of them that they will manifest.’
“Here we are, back to culture emulation.” Brian remembered Solara’s beautiful face.
‘Exactly.’ T chimed in. ‘Brother, you are such a powerful being that you can summon any energy, you choose, into your body. You can manifest it and use it at your own discretion. Now the question is, are you aware of what you are manifesting?’
‘It is a very important thought to be aware of.’ Solara added.
“I am now. And every time I manifest those resistive things, I’m feeding the Lizzies. And I simply refuse to do that anymore.” Brian was through with that stuff. “I can see that everything is out there, but I get to choose what I’ll use. And resisting evil ain’t one of ‘em.”
‘Brother, think of all the energies in your life as paint, on a painter’s pallet. The painter has all the colors available to him, yet he only chooses to use the colors that best represent the picture that he wishes to paint, to manifest. Some pictures are dark and dreary, because they are full of shadows and dark colors. Other pictures are bright and cheery, because they use light colors. The picture being manifested is always up to the discretion of the painter. Neither is good or bad, they are just the representation of what the painter wanted to manifest on that specific canvas. Can you see?’
“It’s all about choice, isn’t it? It’s all about choosing one or the other - nothing is actually being imposed. It’s just my choice as to what my senses are telling me and what picture I want to paint. I think I’m really getting it now.” Brian had one of Bob Ross’ happy little critters running through his mind.
‘So, young rising phoenix,’ Arcturus jumped in again, ‘how do you manifest in your life?’
“By understanding that whatever’s already in my life, I manifested it - nothing was just put there. By knowing that all the energies, whether they’re good or not-so-good, are out there, but it’s my choice as to which ones I choose to manifest. By knowing that it all starts with thoughts, then it moves to words, then to actions – and all of these are DIRECTLY LINKED to my feelings.” Brian pondered a long time over that. “Boy, nobody ever taught this in school.”
‘Brother,’ T joined in. ‘There is another aspect of manifesting that I believe is important for you to know. It is believing and trusting that your Father in Heaven has created everything you will ever need and all you have to do is somehow attract it to you, like filings to a magnet.’
Brian thought of the silver water example that he used to describe attraction.
‘And just as with the other manifesting, this form’s main force is also FEELING. You must feel you already have it, to attract it to you. You must also use as many senses as you can to get your imagination working. See it. Smell it. Taste it, and so on. You get the picture, brother. All this let’s your Father know what you want. Do you see the simplicity and perfection of this?’
“I do now, more than ever.”
‘And do not be surprised when your Father makes you work for these things.’ Theoneius added. ‘He makes us smarter and stronger. And do not forget to thank Him for that.’
Arcturus jumped in. ‘rising phoenix, the entire Lizzy world is based on legal commerce and money. Through these belief systems, humans can be manipulated according to how the markets are going. Low interest rates mean humans are happy. High interest rates deplete personal money, making the majority of humans tense and anxious about the future. Do you understand how this manipulation has been the number one way the Lizzies have generated fear in your so-called 1st and 2nd worlds?’
Brian sat stunned at his imagination.
Arcturus continued. ‘And what do you think will happen to these “hu-manipulative systems”’, flipper thing again, ‘when people realize that they now have the power and the ability to manifest things into their lives, which gives them the chance to bypass these systems forever?’
“Well for me, guaranteed I’ll stop using them.” That was a no-brainer.
‘Do you think you will be alone in that thought?’
“No. I think once people realize that they have the ability to create and attract their needs and wants all on their own, they’ll abandon those Lizzy systems, too.”
‘And what do you think the result of that would be?’ Arcturus knew he had Brian right where he wanted him.
“The Lizzy’s collapse. They would lose all their control over us.” Brian thought about that some more. “THEY WOULD LOSE ALL THEIR CONTROL OVER US!” It’s revelation time, again. “They couldn’t manipulate us anymore. They couldn’t lower the interest rates, only to jack them up later, scaring the living hell out of us. Well, I mean they could, but who would care? Greed and lust for power would end. All of their crap would come to an end!”
‘Quite the revelation, brother.’
Brian suddenly had a thought of all the insane traffic he’s been fighting for the last 20 years – just to get to work. “All those times I got angry I manifested them. All those times that fear came into my life, I MANIFESTED IT!” The revelations continued. “Whenever I didn’t have love, peace and joy in my life, it was because I CHOSE to manifest something else! Man, I never realized.” Brian was shaking his head in disbelief. “And damn..." Brian then saw a mushroom cloud inside his forehead. "Not to mention everything I’ve attracted to me.”
Then Arcturus empathed into Brian’s mind again – seeing all that traffic. ‘And what do you think the vehicle was, that brought these manifestations of resistance to you?’
Brian cruised back down from the overpass. “I-I don’t know what you mean. What do you mean, what vehicle?”
‘What was the one thing you did to make those things manifest?’
“Well, first I thought about ‘em. Right? I mean, that’s what we’ve just been talking about.”
‘Yes, thought is the first step, but there is something about that thought, something that must be done to it.’ Arcturus led his student on, being quite careful to not give anything away.
Suddenly the word jumped into Brian’s head. “Focus. I must first focus on that thought, then everything else comes like falling dominos.”
Arcturus jumped higher than Brian had ever seen and made a tremendous THWAP as he splashed back into the sea. ‘You are wise, rising phoenix. Focus is the vehicle that drives all thoughts, to words, then to actions. Realize what you are focusing on, and you will take the first step towards changing your life. You will begin to understand how and why you have been manifesting in your life, what you have.’
Another revelation hit. “So that’s why people are poor, because they have yet to focus on not being poor.”
‘Visualizing about another world, while living in the current one, requires much practice.’ T echoed in Brian’s mind.
“I see. Everything around them is telling them that they’re poor. They see it, hear it, taste it, feel it and then go about living their lives like that’s the way it’s supposed to be, without ever giving one thought to another condition their lives might be in. Without ever once realizing that what they’re focusing on, directly results in what they’re manifesting!” Now those were a lot of dots.
‘Being focused is the most important part of manifesting. And this focus requires training. An undisciplined mind is the greatest enemy to focus. It makes humans think of many things at once, making them spread their energies over many things, which inevitably disempowers them.’ Arcturus knew this well.
T thought of something that might help. ‘Brother, think of it as the difference between a light bulb and a laser beam.’
“Wow.” More revelations were on their way. “The media. They get everybody all riled up over all the problems in the world, making the people keep wishing that things could be better, knowing full well that no one can really do anything about them, anyway – outside of prayer, that is. TV, newspapers, magazines, the radio; they all exist to make us spread ourselves thin. They make us focus on things outside of our control, leaving us to live in the dark, concerning our own control. It’s so clear now.” Brian thought of T’s recent words. “It is the difference between a light bulb and a laser beam.”
‘Your eyes are opening wide, oh Master.’
“And all these other things that remind us of our terrible pasts and make us anxious over our unknown futures, they keep us from focusing on ourselves, too. Don’t they?” Brian was really getting the gist of this morning’s lessons.
‘A very powerful Lizzy conditioning.’
“Wow, most of the pain and suffering in the world is actually created by thinking that we somehow or another know what’s best for somebody else, or that we can somehow, or another fix somebody else’s problems. It’s those things that keep us from focusing on ourselves. It’s those things that keep us from manifesting all the good things in our lives, because we spend all our energies outside of us!” Brian's head was again shaking in disbelief. “Charity is one thing, but needless sacrifice is just something else.”
‘So Master, how will you manifest your good life now?’
“Through focusing on the good and feeling like I already have it – ‘cause I do. Through focusing on the light and letting the darkness be what it is. Through knowing that I only know, at best, what’s best for me and by realizing that if there’s anything outside of my control that needs fixin’, through prayer, I’ll turn that over to God.” Brian thought of one more. “And to do service, to show my Father that I get it.”
‘And realize this brother,’ T added. ‘If you feel you are lacking something in your life, give it away and see what happens.’
Brian climbed down from his lofty perch. “T, that makes no sense. If I’m lacking something, it’s because I DON’T have it. How can I give something away that I don’t have?”
‘You cannot, brother. But you are in error by thinking that you are in lack to begin with. Take love, for example. If you are lacking love in your life and wish for more, then love someone and you won’t be lacking it anymore. Same goes with peace and joy and money and wisdom. Give it away, and then you will have it. Brother, one day you will realize that you do have it all, and that will be the day when you give it all away.’ T knows his twin is very close.
Brian summed up his connections. “So just because my senses are telling me one thing, it doesn’t make it reality. It’s only my perceptions.”
‘I believe you have graduated, my brother.’ In his mind, Brian saw T patting him on the back and handing him a diploma.
Then Brian had a big time thought. “T, that’s how the cetaceans manifested you into being, isn’t it? They focused on your thoughts and created you in the flesh. They literally manifested you in this third dimension, by simply thinking about you and focusing on you. And I’ll bet they did a little chanting and ceremony to go along with it.”
‘Your intuitions are correct, my brother. The Lizzies were about to scatter my energy throughout the universe, spreading me so thin that I could barely contemplate my own existence. But with the cetacean’s help, my energy was focused into a ray, like a laser beam, and what physically manifested, was your Higher Self.’
“So, what’s the best way to focus? I mean do I concentrate on not thinking about something I shouldn’t be doing, or should I just think about what I want?” It always seemed so easy for Brian to focus on the bad things.
‘rising phoenix, any time you focus on what should not be, you are focusing on resistive things. And what you resist will always persist. Only focus on what you want and leave what you do not want up to God to take care of.’ Arcturus always gives good advice.
“Okay then, what’s the best way to manifest or attract things to me, I mean the quickest.” Brian was ready.
‘Two things – First, claim to have.’ Arcturus stated. ‘The more you claim to have, the more will be provided to you. And it doesn’t matter whether you already possess it or not. Claim to have and you will have more. That is a promise from the Creator.’
“Okay, seems rather simple. I can do that. What’s the other one?” Brian felt this was some pretty important info and didn’t want to miss anything.
‘Visualization. Start “seeing” yourself where you want to be, doing what you want to be doing - having what you want to have. Be very specific about your visions. Use great discipline to not let your mind wander. The more it wanders the less energy is directly focused on your wants and the longer it will take to manifest them.’ Arcturus added. ‘As The One stated, it is the difference between a light bulb and a laser beam.’
“Okay.” Brian kind of got it. “What’s the best way to do that?”
‘By using your senses.’ Arcturus empathed rather matter-of-factly.
“Wait a minute! Didn’t you just get done tellin’ me that my senses are the very things that created all this madness in my life, IN THE FIRST PLACE?”
‘No brother, it is through your senses that you manifest the madness in your life, as well as your joy.’
“Oh.” Brian thought some more. “So, my senses aren’t bad?”
‘No, of course not. It is only what you use them to focus on that will define good from bad for you. God gave you your senses to use in harmony with your heart and mind. Start using them for something other than pointing out the darkness.’ Arcturus was pretty serious about that.
“How?”
‘Brother, what is it that you really want in life?’
“I want 7,000 acres somewhere in Colorado where I can start a school where responsibility, integrity, courage and honor can be taught. Where the instructors are experienced in whatever they're teaching. Where the most important things in life can be learned but learned for free – no tuition. I want to spread light around the world, by doing it one person at a time. And I’m gonna’ call it the School of Light. And I want to have no more material wants or needs. If I want to eat something, I want to manifest it right then and there and not have to go to someone else to satisfy my own needs.” Brian paused for a moment. “Yeh, that’s what I want. And I want all the money I need to do it with.”
‘I did not ever see that, brother. I did not know this was something you really wanted to do. Did you ever focus on it very much?’ That genuinely caught T off guard - something that he didn’t think was possible.
“Well, I wasn’t really sure until we drove through Colorado. In fact, it was spending the night on Wild Horse Mesa and seeing the San Luis Valley that made it really click into place. And right now, I’m pretty sure that that’s the place I want to put it.” Brian remembered the view. Oh, what a view.
‘Admirable desires, oh Master.’ Arcturus commented. ‘And what have you done in the area of focus to heighten your senses to this future reality?’
“Nothing. I’ve only thought about it.”
‘May I suggest you draw a picture of your school. May I suggest you take some of that sage and speak your wishes into its smoke. May I suggest you cut out pictures from magazines or photograph places that remind you most of your desires. May I suggest you build a three-dimensional model of the 7,000-acre school - to scale, of course. May I suggest you sing about it. May I suggest you write about it. May I suggest you listen to sounds that remind you of it. May I suggest…’
“I get it.” Brian cut Arcturus off. “All of those things help me to focus on it more... better.”
‘So, you do not already use them for that very purpose?’
“Wait.” Brian’s light was coming back on. “You’re talkin’ about when I use them to keep finding the darkness. Always out there looking for it, ready at all times to prove to it what it is.” Then Brian really thought about those words. “I need to use all my senses to manifest goodness, and I need to activate those senses by DOING something good. By seeing it and hearing it and touching it and feeling it.”
‘That is how you will be able to visualize it into reality. You said it yourself, all humans come from Missouri and must be shown. Show yourself and watch what happens. But, the most important thing of all these manifestation tools, is that you SEE YOURSELF in them. You must see yourself in your dreams or else your dreams will float around in the ethers, with no way, no means of grounding them into your physical reality. When visualizing, seeing yourself is the most important thing you must do to manifest. Please do not ever forget that.’
Brian spent the rest of that day and night pondering over what he really wants in life.
The next morning, Brian headed back out to meet Arcturus. He had more than a few things on his mind. “Good morning, my wise…” Brian paused for a moment. “Friend.”
‘I thought you were about to say wise OLD friend.’
“I was, because it’s so commonplace for us humans to say that. But then I had a feeling, that you weren't so old at all.” Brian paused again. “So, how old are you anyway? I mean… if that’s okay for me to ask.”
‘Are you asking me my age?’
“Yes, sorry. What is your age?”
‘I am somewhere between what you would consider young and middle aged.’
“How many years is that?”
‘What is a year?’
“It’s a unit of time. C’mon, you know.”
‘We do not live by time. We only live right here, right now. Time is a concept that removes us from our now, so we do not even acknowledge it.’
“Then how do you know how old you are?”
‘I told you human, I am not old.’
“Oh, for gosh sakes. You know what I mean!”
‘Then say it.’
“Okay, if you don’t use time as a concept of living by, then how do you know when you’re going to die or come to that time in your life when things start falling apart or just get more painful?” This was beyond any thinking that Brian had done before. The path never taken.
‘Okay human, now you have completely lost me. Are you asking me what concept we have that seems to foretell of our deaths or indicate that we are entering into a time of breakdown?’
“By breakdown, I assume you are talking about disease.”
‘Is that not what you are speaking of when you claim to be falling apart?’
“Yes. That is what I call falling apart, getting old and having things just start going bad.” Brian couldn’t help but think how bizarre all this thinking is.
‘Brian, if I could, may I ask you a question?’
“Well, sure. Anything.”
‘Do you look forward to falling apart and breaking down? Do you see yourself doing this?’
“Well, no not me specifically. At least, not right now. Right now I just see it all around me. I see people getting older and getting sicker and having more things go wrong with them. Hospitals are turning folks away and people seem to have no hope.”
‘Do you look forward to death and pain and misery?’ Arcturus asked.
“You mean like I want it to happen?” That question surprised him.
‘No, like if you were standing on a timeline and you were looking forward as opposed to looking backward.’
“I never thought about it like that.” Brian saw a single pair of train tracks, heading off over the horizon, going on forever. Then he turned and saw the same thing the other way.
‘Think about it like that.’
Brian sat for nearly an hour, covering those tracks, considering whether or not he consciously contemplated his own demise. After a while, he just stared off into the distance, contemplating how nature deals with such things. ‘It doesn’t.’ Finally, he spoke. “Arcturus?”
‘Yes, rising phoenix.’ Arcturus was patiently waiting, about 20 feet out.
“I have given your question great thought and have come to the conclusion that yes, I have spent time in my life contemplating my own demise, my own breakdown. And I’ve also concluded that it’s not so much me sitting around thinking about it, as it is something that comes at me from the TV with all those drug or insurance ads. Or it comes from my neighbors telling me that it’s cold and flu season, or how much their muscles and bones ache. And how all of this seems to be absolutely unavoidable, as we grow old, well, I mean in age. It seems to be a given fact, in this world that I live.” Brian felt rather drained.
‘rising phoenix, do you think you are a product of your genes or of your environment?’ Arcturus always likes to throw in something new when he realizes where Brian is at.
“I don’t get it. What does one have to do with the other?”
‘Do you think you define yourself according to your own personal physiology or by the environment you grew up in?’ Arcturus dove a little deeper.
“Oh, I get it,” Brian perked up. “I saw that movie, it was called Trading Places. I liked it, it was funny. And ooh, Jamie Lee. Anyway, that was the underlying theme of the movie. Are we a result of our environment or of who we are?”
‘What conclusion did the movie come to?’ Then rose to the surface and blew out his blowhole, again.
“I don't know, it's been a while. Environment… I think. I mean at first, his environment was the slums, begging for money as a cripple, when he was no such thing. Then his environment changed to a wealthy one where he was given responsibility and he adapted and became a very successful stockbroker. I don’t know, maybe both – if that’s possible.”
‘rising phoenix,’ Arcturus’ tone changed again. ‘In this world you claim to be living in, are you a product of its environment or of your own heritage? Pick. One. Only.’
Again, Brian thought long and hard. “Boy, when you decide to ask a question, you don’t mess around do you?”
‘Why? Is that something I should be doing?’ Arcturus asked playfully.
“No. It’s just that… aw, never mind. I guess looking at my life and the way I’ve acted, I would have to say that I’ve become a product of my environment. I never really thought about that, because I've always considered myself to be above the chaos that’s all around me.”
‘The chaos around you is a mirror image of the chaos within you.’
Suddenly Brian’s attention was drawn to the never-ending garbage that was always lying around on the floorboard of his goat. “Oh.”
Then there was a very long pause. None of them spoke. Apparently, Brian’s GTO mind was racing so fast, Arcturus knew he didn’t stand a chance at getting in there.
“So…” Brian’s mind was still racing, and his mouth was just now catching up with it. “…you’re trying to make me see that the environment around me is a result of my own thinking… MY OWN ACTIONS?” This was certainly a new track he was racing on.
‘rising phoenix, have you ever heard of the power of suggestion?’
“Uh huh, I hear it all the time. Wait a minute…” Something was coming on and Brian didn’t want to miss it. “…are you suggesting that that’s the way I’ve been living my life, under the power of suggestion of everybody else?” Green flag.
‘Uh huh.’
More revelations were coming. “Holy cow, and everything that I consider to be my environment is actually a reflection of what’s going on inside of me?” White flag.
‘Uh huh.’
“And all I have to do is somehow change what’s going on inside of me and what’s outside of me will change, too?” Checkered flag.
‘Uh huh. Let me give you an example. There was a time in your life when you were at odds with government, were you not?’
“Yep, I pretty much hated 'em all. Servants claiming to be our authority. What a bunch of crap.” He really hated that.
‘rising phoenix, what condition were you in at that time?’
“What do you mean?”
‘I mean what was your overall well-being and health?’
“Well,” Brian thought back in his life all the way to about two weeks ago. “I was overweight and out of shape… and I drank a bit. (Ol’ No. 7 came to mind.) At times I even considered myself a little bit lazy and slightly irresponsible, or maybe I should say nonresponsible.” Brian gave that a good thought; like he was looking at someone other than himself. “Man, I was like a whole ‘nother person back then.”
‘Are you still at odds with the government?’ Arcturus asked.
“No. I pray to God Almighty, that I’m done with that.” Brian confidently replied. “Thanks to T.” Brian saw Theoneius in his mind, accepting the Best Wingman Award for 2021.
‘And what shape are you in now?’ Arcturus always likes to bring the moment into the present.
“Well, I’ve lost a few pounds and my lungs are breathing a lot easier. I’m certainly in better shape now, than what I was. And I really don’t drink that much anymore…” Brian remembered the bar where he took T that second night after winning his courtroom battle. “…At least not like what I used to.” His multi-track brain got back on the right one. “But what does my health have to do with government?”
‘Have you not become self-governing? Have you not stopped lying and cheating and stealing? Have you not started taking care of your body? Have you not become a better person? Are you still lazy and slightly nonresponsible?’ Arcturus was forcing a bunch of dots to be revisited.
“No. I accept responsibility for everything I say and do, now. I don’t run away anymore. I stretch and work out regularly and I’ve pretty much gained control over everything in my life that I have control over. Most of my pain is gone and I’m not angry anymore.” Brian seemed relieved to have revisited those old dots, noticing how they no longer connect to who he is. Then he pulled out his eraser and erased ‘em.
‘And what reflection is that sending out to your environment, oh Master?’ T asked, while waving his palm before his twin’s face.
In his mind’s eye, Brian saw an entire landscape transform like an outgoing ripple of a wave. As the wave moved away from him, the landscape of garbage, storm clouds and jagged rocks changed to one of endless fields of grass, waving in the light breeze of a warm, sunny summer’s day.
Brian came back to reality. “One of peace. I see. Good job, brother.” There went another happy little squirrel.
Arcturus jumped in again. ‘If you want peace in your life, rising phoenix, you need to create it first. Then it will ripple out into your environment, making it manifest around you. Most humans think it is the other way around, but it is not. Take charge of your life. Be proactive toward it. Do not let another human’s words define who you are. That’s your job.
“Yeah.” Brian’s eyes spotted a tiny crustacean doing a Waltzing Matilda across the sand covered ballroom floor that he found himself sitting on. “I see that now. All of those truths that I argued against actually kept me in that environment – all that chaos and confusion. Wow. I never knew that everything out there was actually a mirror reflection of everything in here.” Then Brian thought for another while. “Arcturus, are you saying that everyone has this power, the ability to mold and shape their environment, based on their commitment within?”
‘A truth is a truth is a truth.’
Brian’s eyes got really big, as he came to perhaps the greatest of all understandings, so far. “Oh my God, you’re saying that everyone’s truth is true. You’re saying that everything that’s believed in, all the way to the cellular level is whatever truth that person happens to believe in.”
‘Yes.’ Arcturus was pleased that Brian arrived at that conclusion.
“There’s not one, almighty totally singular truth, is there?” Brian was beginning to realize that the track he was racing on was a figure eight.
‘There is, if we are only speaking of one human. But, if you are speaking of the entire population of humans, I would say, there are as many truths as there are humans, who are expressing them.’
“And it’s our thoughts that create that truth.” Time for Brian to connect the new dots.
‘Yes.’
“And then we talk about it and go out and do things according to it.” A coffee shop full of people complaining and cheering about the recent elections played itself out for a few moments through Brian’s mind.
Arcturus waited. ‘Yes.’
“And everybody has their own truth.” They certainly did in that coffee shop.
‘Yes.’ Arcturus knew Brian was about to put his flipper, er finger, on the truth.
“And just because it disagrees with mine, doesn’t mean it’s a lie. It’s just THEIR truth.” Brian again shook his head in disbelief, while a mental pencil connected all those dots, over a nice latte.
Arcturus did another humongous leap into the air and came down with another incredible THWAP! This one sent a wave all the way to shore.
Brian’s mind changed tracks… again. “Doesn’t that hurt?” He remembers the epic unintended belly flop he performed off a very tall tree branch rope into a very cold Puyallup River. ‘PAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNN!..................... Breathe….’
‘No, it is our expression of joy.’
Then Brian let out a big YAAAAAA-HOOOOOO!!!!!!! “That’s our expression of joy.”
Arcturus had never before experienced such an event by a human. ‘Does that not hurt?’
Brian laughed. “Hey, so what you’re saying is, everybody’s got a truth about something. And they’re gonna’ live that truth, because the environment around them totally supports it.”
‘And proves it.’ Arcturus shut the door on that truth.
“Ooh. I see that point, too.” Brian smiled as he connected more dots. “And since it proves it, they just keep on living it. Wow, like a vicious cycle. Which came first, the experience or the truth?”
‘Maybe a chicken in the village can give you that answer.’ Arcturus offered.
“Hey, I’m not kidding.” Brian genuinely wanted to know and wasn’t playin’ around.
‘Neither am I.’ Arcturus responded quite matter-of-factly.
Brian knew he would have to come back to that one. “And what about these truths called Armageddon or some kind of asteroid slamming into us? What about them, will they come true?” Brian’s been watching a bit of YouTube as of late.
‘For those who believe, they will.’
“Oh great, so all those Christians out there who absolutely believe that Armageddon HAS GOT TO happen, they're going to bring it into my life. Their beliefs are going to flow into my world!” This was something Brian always had a hard time with.
‘Why do they have to?’ Arcturus sensed Brian’s aggravation.
“What do you mean, why do they have to?! There’s only one world isn’t there? I mean, if the U.S. and whoever else wants to, comes up with a concept that convinces everybody that the destruction of the world is the only way to solve their issues, well, how does that NOT affect me? Being that I also live on this planet.” Brian just simply wasn’t getting it.
‘I must clarify something, rising phoenix. You used the words world and planet. Do you consider them to be same thing?’ Arcturus felt certain distinctions must be made.
Brian answered blindly. He couldn’t see where Arcturus was going. “Well, yeh. One world, one planet. Destroy one and you’ll most certainly destroy the other.”
‘That is correct, but your connection may need some enlightenment. It is true that the planet affords the opportunity for the world to exist. Take away the Earth, and none of us are here. But make no mistake, like truths, there are as many worlds as there are people living in them. And that makes for lots of differing perspections and viewpoints.’
“So, if Armageddon comes, it won’t affect me?” Brian had a chard of hope.
‘Do you believe in Armageddon?’ Arcturus asked.
“No. I do not believe that a war will end all things.” Brian responded confidently.
‘Do you believe in an asteroid hitting the Earth?’
“No, I don’t believe in that either. Because to even think about it, would mean that God, having created a jewel in the rough - the HOPE DIAMOND of the universe - the most beautiful heavenly body in all of creation, would only one day wipe it out with a rock and start all over again. I don’t believe that God would do that or allow it.” That concept made absolutely no sense to Brian.
‘Then, rising one, it will not happen to you.’
“WHAT?” That one blew Brian away. “How can you say that? I don’t have any control over any asteroid or a planet destroying war!” Brian jumped to his feet to continue arguing his truth from an elevated position. “I don’t have the power to run out there and say ‘Hey, your truths are all OUT THERE, change to this one!’ No one would believe me!” By now, his arms and voice have reached to the sky.
‘But, you do have control over your world?’ Arcturus responded very calmly.
“I hope so.” That calmed Brian down and then he sat back down.
‘And in your world what is your truth?’ Arcturus, always the perfect teacher, leading by question - always leading to an answer.
“That this planet, Gaia,” Brian tapped the sand below him, “will ascend to a higher dimension where fear no longer exists; where we recognize everything and everyone for the Light Beings that we really and truly are; where love, peace and joy triumph; where we are all one family, again.”
‘Then that will be your world.’
“But, what about the wars? What about all the space rocks?” Instantly all those images raced through Brian’s logical, truthful mind.
‘Are you trying to argue those truths into creation?’ T jumped his twin’s butt.
“Heavens, no!” Again, Brian defended himself.
‘Then why do you even consider them?’ This Theoneius was not going to let pass.
“Because, THOSE PEOPLE do!” Brian pointed obliviously in some direction, but definitely away from him.
‘Are you one of “those people”?’ Arcturus bobbed up in the water and did the flipper thing again.
“NO!” Then Brian followed that logic. “Well, I guess I am if I… if I think like them.”
‘rising phoenix, know this from the inner most part of your being. Very soon, the world as you know it will begin to split apart. Not physically, but mentally - ethereally. All truths are about to come true. I know your logical mind finds that truth to be impossible, but it is going to happen. Those who choose the truth of love will go one way. Those who choose the truth of fear, will go the other.’ Arcturus’ voice was very soothing.
“How? How can so many different truths exist at once, all in one place?” Brian thought this concept was like a water balloon, with way too much water in it.
‘Brother, do you do ceremony each day?’ T felt he needed to make a point.
“No.”
‘American Indians do. Can you manipulate the weather?’ T came right back.
“No!”
‘Australian Aborigines can. Do you believe that suicide is the only way to solve your problems?’ That caught Brian sideways.
“NO!” Brian was about done having to defend himself.
‘And yet, thousands and thousands of humans come to that truth every day.’ T was standing outside a cemetery.
“What truth? That’s not my truth.”
‘But it is theirs.’ T pointed inside the wrought iron gate, specifically identifying 4 headstones.
“There is no good reason to ever have to commit suicide. It is an abomination to God.” Brian refused to look.
‘No excuse?’
“None.” Brian sat firm, like granite.
‘What about those humans who are enduring unbelievable pain from the moment they wake, until the moment they rest.’
“Well, that’s not really suicide. As one who hates pain as much as I do, I can understand wanting to get rid of it.” The granite began to crumble.
‘Oh, so now, if you are in pain, it is not suicide, it is just a choice to get rid of pain?’
“Well, yeh.” Brian suddenly had a thought about all those kids who commit suicide every day. “Hey! You’re twisting my words around.” The granite became road base.
‘I am not, human. You said there is no good reason for a human wanting to take their own life. Now you say if a person is in discomfort, that it is okay to do so.’ Arcturus just kept bobbing up and down.
“Well, a little more than just discomfort, I would say.”
‘Really? And who gets to make that judgment on what level of discomfort is really nothing and which level means “Okay, you can go kill yourself if you want to?"' Arcturus took on a dark tone, but still did the “quotes thing” with his flippers.
“You seem angry with me.”
‘I am not angry human; I am merely pointing out to you your judgments. In some aspects, you give mercy. In others, you give punishment. And that would be wrath if you had things your way.’ Arcturus then added with great discomfort, ‘Hypocrisy seems to be a way of life for you humans.’
Brian remembered the thought about mirrors, and how his good self-government has created one outside of him… at least in his world. “That’s why government punishes doesn’t it, because we do.”
‘That is also why they spy, because you are a generally nosy species. That is also why they control, because you are a naturally controlling species. If you do not want covertness in your life, then stop being covert. If you do not want to be controlled, then stop trying to control those things, and humans, outside your control.’
“What’s outside of me is a reflection of what's inside of me.” Brian was going back over the same track he blew by just a little while ago, except it appeared to be on a higher level.
‘A truth is a truth…’
“Is a truth. I know. And now I have to start considering which truths are my truths.” Although the race may appear to be getting dark, Brian’s got his headlights on.
‘And leave everyone else’s truths alone. They will not affect you, so long as you are sincere in your truths. That is what is critical now. Even though others can prove their truths to be correct, from the limited environment they have created, realize that you are only witnessing another human’s truth. It does not have to be your truth. But through freewill, you can make it your own.’
“Then I have to take the consequences.”
‘Yes.’
“Consequences of love or fear.”
‘Yes.’
“Of peace or war.”
‘Yes.’
“Of good or evil. Of calm or chaos.”
‘Yes. rising phoenix, all truths are about to come to fruition. They are all about to manifest. What you must do now, is stop arguing truths that are lies to you. You must let them all go and live your truth. It is not your business, nor your Right to change anyone else’s truth. Just be rising phoenix. That alone, has enough truth in it, all by itself.’
“Wow, no more arguing.” Brian felt like he was done with a tremendous amount of stress in his life.
‘No.’
“No more making anybody see that their truth is wrong.”
‘Absolutely not.’
Then Brian remembered his Sunday School training. “Judge not lest ye be judged. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Do not unto others, as you would not have them do unto you.”
‘Do you see the wisdom in those words?’
“Yes. It’s always been my judgments that have caused my world to be chaotic and painful. I see that now. I judged the government as being wrong. I judged the people as being ignorant. I judged those folks who should know better, to know better. And now I can see that they’re all living according to their own truths. And nothing that I’m going to say or do is going to change any of them. And besides, I never liked it when somebody told me that I was wrong and needed to see things their way.” Never before had Brian felt such at ease.
‘rising phoenix, know this: All change starts from within, lest it tries to come from without and gets rejected. They will change only if they want to change. In the meanwhile, always speak your truth, always live your truth and if anyone wants to know it, they will come up to you and ask you for it. Until then, live in peace knowing that God knows that you now know. And that is enough.’
“Wow, Arcturus. This has really been a whiz-bang meeting of the minds we’ve had this morning.”
‘I see your truth in that.’
“Hey I like that. Maybe that’s the way I’ll respond from now on.”
‘You could always just walk away.’
“Yeh, but I save that one for last.”
‘Well, it is time for you to go.’
“Then I guess you could call this the last.” Brian reluctantly concluded.
Arcturus then took on the most serious tone that Brian had ever heard. ‘rising phoenix, do not ever forget Who You Are. You are as you claim – not what you see, but what you are becoming. You have been through the fastest training of nearly every human that has ever existed on planet Earth. Just a little over a month ago you were working with my cousin, Alpha, at Sea World.’
“He’s your cousin? Wow, what a coincidence.”
‘Human, we are all family. The closest ones we call brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers. The ones farther away are cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents – you get the idea.’
“Yep. I do now.”
‘You are a member of the human family. Look at those closest to you and ask yourself why you would do for them, when you would not do for a perfect stranger. Then analyze why you would not do for the perfect stranger. Then ask yourself why you even look at him like a perfect stranger, when he is a member of your FAMILY. Open your eyes and open your hearts. See through your heart, now. The time is over for you to keep judging things outside of you. You know Who You Are, yet you keep arguing who you are NOT. You know deep down that all of this illusion is about to come to an end, yet you keep spewing on and on.’ Arcturus was really doing his best to make his words sink in.
“I just don’t want to get there alone.”
‘I know and God loves you for that. But now, you must have faith that you will not be alone, that there are at least 144,000 other humans, just like you, who feel EXACTLY the same way as you. They too, are frustrated and angry at the way things are. They too, wish that with a snap of their fingers they could change the world into one of love, peace, joy and abundance. They have just forgotten that THEY CAN. They can change their world.’
“With the snap of a finger.” Brian snapped his fingers.
‘Yes. It is time to start snapping your fingers, rising phoenix. It is time that your closest 144,000 family members begin doing the same. It is time to let go of everything outside of you. It is time to change the image that is being cast into the mirror, which will allow for a completely new reflection to make its way back.’ Arcturus blew a little ocean out his blowhole. ‘The time is now and there is no other.’
Brian paused a minute or so to see all the dots, which lay before him. “Life really is a mirror, isn’t it Arcturus?” This one dot seemed to connect to all the others.
‘Yes. That is the greatest of all realizations, young rising one. You are only a victim to your own reflections. If you do not like what is coming your way, all you need to do is change the image that you are casting into the mirror. Once you do that, once you consciously change your image, your projection, then your world around you will change. Did that very thing not happen in your courtroom in Florida?’
“Yep. I saw them as my family, and everything went completely opposite of the way I was told it was going to – or ever thought it would.”
‘Change your image, rising phoenix. Change your projection and watch how quickly things reflect back to you in a whole new, wondrous way.’ Arcturus ducked under an incoming wave.
“It’s tough not to take things personal, though. It’s tough not to buy into all the crap and get angry. It’s hard to let go of the things I’ve found out.” Brian was arguing his old world again.
‘Only if you say it is.’ Blowhole used again.
Brian really thought about that. “I’m arguing what I am not again, aren’t I?”
‘What do you think, young human?’
“Man, I really have to work on this. I really have to not get caught up in the illusion of drama anymore - the illusion of victimhood and the need to do something about it. I can see now that all those visions are Lizzy oriented. And only through my own choices can I ever expect to stay clear of them.”
‘Embrace Who You Are, young hologram. Rejoice in the Light that fills you now - the Light that was used to create you and came to engulf you. Remember your creation. Remember that you are Light. You have taken form in the human that sits before me, for the soul purpose of raising your consciousness – your vibration. Soon, you will be the Light that you so desperately seek. Soon rising phoenix, you will be the example for all to see. Then, and only then, will you finally see that you are not alone, and you will not be alone when the shift occurs.’
“Well then…” Brian took in a deep breath. “I guess it’s really time for me to go. I will miss you, Master.”
‘And I you, rising phoenix. You have given us all great hope that the Divine Plan will be fulfilled. You have the gifts, the gift of remembrance and the gift of sight – please use them wisely.’
“Goodbye, my friends!!” Brian called out to the open sea. “I love you all!” Then he turned with tears in his eyes and left that magical spot, for what he knew, to be the last time. Then he fell to his knees and wept. “My God! I never knew!” He yelled to the heavens. “I never knew of true beauty, until now. I never knew it even existed until right now. THANK YOU, FATHER! Thank You for opening mine eyes to see Thy Glory. Thank You for believing in me and for having faith in ME. I am Thy servant. I now understand those words spoken by your Son, so many years ago – Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. And uhm, although I am ready, I was hoping that simple service may suffice this time around.” Brian’s forehead rested on the sand. “Yeh, simple service.”
Suddenly the softest, most powerful voice Brian ever heard made Its way into his conscious mind. ‘And now My son says it, again.’
Tears flowed from Brian like the dike just broke and then he fell the rest of the way to the sand. Something just took away all of his chaotic energy and replaced it with a serene peace rarely experienced by humans in the history of this dimension. He lay prone, like he was paralyzed. Yet, even if he could move, at this moment in time, he certainly would not. This feeling of rapture doesn’t come every day, you know.
Then, ever so gently, Arcturus came back into Brian’s mind. ‘Call on me, rising phoenix. Call on me no matter where you are, and we will talk.’
Then the rest chimed in. ‘And us, too.’ Cayleth added, speaking for the Yeti.
‘And me, too, brother.’ Theoneius added.
“Yes.” Brian calmly responded. “Yes, you are always there.”
‘As well as I.’ Impulsed that wonderfully beautiful, but powerful Presence.
“Yes, sir.” Brian responded with great respect. Then he had a thought. “Father?”
‘Yes, My son.’
“Can we talk?”
‘Why yes, of course. What is on your mind, today?’
“Father, if there's one thing that all humans can do to aid in the advancement of your Divine Plan… something that’s not too hard or difficult… something that everybody could do without any training… what would that be?”
‘Give honor to all that is around you.’
“That’s it?” Seemed rather simplistic.
‘Yes. For starters, that would do quite nicely.’
“Just give honor.” Somehow it seems there should be more.
‘Yes.’
“How? How do I just do that?” Brian wanted to make sure he gets this right.
‘Through respect.’
“Respect.” Brian made sure he heard that right.
‘Yes. That and a sense of knowing.’
“Knowing what?”
‘Knowing that what you are about to do is right and best, and highest amongst all actions.’
“And what is that?”
‘Giving honor.’
“Right back to where we started.” Brian exhaled.
‘No. Now you know that through giving respect and demonstrating self-confidence, you can choose to be your Highest Self through giving Honor to My creation.’
“But Your creation is everything – everyone.”
‘Yes, that is true.’
“I even have to honor people that I KNOW are lying to me?”
‘Yes.’
“Even those people who want to do me harm?”
‘Yes.’
“Aw come on! Are you telling me that I even have to honor those beings who claim to be honorable, but have absolutely lied to Your face in giving You their oaths?!” Brian saw them clearly in his mind.
‘Yes. Especially those.’ Father was very direct.
“Why?! For gosh sakes! Isn’t lying to God blasphemy anymore?” Brian had reached the end of his rope and was dangling by a thread.
‘If it were, would that make you feel any better?’
“Now I’m completely lost.” Snap.
‘Son, do you want Me to judge those who gave Me their solemn oaths to do one thing, yet inevitably, wound up doing another?’
“Well, yeh, I mean, yes Sir.” Brian remembered to Whom he is speaking. “Otherwise, what are oaths for?”
‘They are for you, My son.’
“For me?” Brian pointed at himself. “I don’t understand.”
‘And what should I do with all of My Light Children who gave Me their oaths to raise the vibration of My Daughter, only to have yet to even try? Should I judge them in the same manner as you wish for Me to judge the others?’
Brian instantly thought of himself. For one selfish minute, he came to realize that if he wished God to judge those that he sees as needing judgment, then he himself, would surely be judged just as harshly. “Maybe it would be best if You didn’t judge anyone.”
‘Perhaps, it would be best for you to follow this same advice.’
“Yes. I can see that now.” Dad sure knows how to make His children see the light.
‘Son, you will give honor to Me each time you look at a flower and acknowledge My beauty. Every time you witness a thunderstorm and feel My power; Every time you gaze into the face of a newborn baby and connect yourself to My ultimate compassion; Every time you give thanks to whatever it is you are using, for serving you in your mission. Do you understand now what it means to honor?’
“Yes. To honor is to see You in everything. To remember that You are in everything – that You ARE everything.”
‘You do Me great honor, My son. Very soon you will be returning to the world you are most familiar with. Honor it, if you wish to honor Me. From this, you will receive all your power – all My power.’
“Thank you, Father. You have fully answered my question. Thank you.”
‘You are most welcome, rising phoenix. Do you know that it was I, Who suggested that name to you?’
“I had my suspicions.”
‘You are most dearly loved, My son. Go amongst My children with love in your heart and peace on your mind. I am in charge. I am in control. Everything is proceeding according to My Plan. You will create resistance lest you forget that.’
And with that command, Brian stood up, brushed the sand off his clothes and headed back to the hut. As he reached the front door, he stopped and turned, realizing that his time in paradise was about to come to an end. So, he sat on the porch and looked out over the ocean to the setting sun. His breath was taken as he saw the most incredibly vivid colors, which were being personally displayed for its most honored observer. “Wow, this is even better than the one in Colorado.” The rolling waves and cresting surf sent his mind into Nirvana. “Dear Lord, I pray to You with all my heart that You will hear my words. Let not this paradise suffer the trials that will come to the other places. Please spare these good people of Bimini - these good islands. I ask this with all my heart, all my love.”
The softest, gentlest, warmest presence entered Brian’s consciousness… again. ‘You are most blessed, My son.’
‘Hey, twin o’ mine.’ Theoneius interjected. ‘Have you noticed that the sun has been shining brighter, as of late?’
Brian’s consciousness connected with the view before him. “Yeh T, I sure have. And the corona or whatever it’s called around it, seems to be getting bigger, making everything else get brighter, too.” Brian noticed how everything around him seemed to be glowing with the setting sun.
‘Twin, are you familiar with the belief that world around you is merely a reflection of the image you cast into the mirror?’
‘Yeh, I think I’ve got it by now. The image I send into the mirror, will be the reflection I get back.”
‘I could not have said it better.’
Brian pondered that thought for a moment. “So, you’re talking about Karma, again. Right?"
‘No. Although Karma is an aspect of this belief, it is not the lesson here.’
“Well then, what is the lesson?”
‘Twin, have you noticed the sun has been shining brighter, as of late?’ Theoneius repeated.
Brian really, really thought about that one. “So, you’re saying the reason the sun is getting brighter is because the image I’m casting into the mirror is getting brighter?” Brian thought some more. “That I’M GETTING BRIGHTER?”
‘Yes, brother. You are getting brighter, which is making everything around you get brighter. The environment around you is only a mirror image of YOU. And in this circumstance, what you are is what you think – what you say – what you do. Then you get to witness it, as the reflection comes back to you.’
“Holy cow. You’re telling me that the whole world can change in an instant, once they change their thoughts about it? Once they change their perceptions about it?”
‘No, I’m telling you that YOUR world can change in an instant, once YOU change YOUR thoughts about it.’ T gently corrected his brother.
“Oh.” Brian saw the wisdom in that thought. “Okay, I see what you’re saying.” Then the big picture hit him. “All truths are about to come true, aren't they?”
‘Yes.’
“And although it may seem an impossible thing, it will be possible because of the effect of the mirror.”
‘Yes.’
“And all of my anger… it was just being reflected back to me.”
‘Yes. Otherwise, how could you ever know what your anger did?’
“I brought everything to me.” Brian started feeling depressed.
‘Yes, brother. Including me.’
“Oh… yeh.” With that reminder, Brian seemed to cheer up a little. “I am not the same person you met in Orlando, bro. I guarantee you that.”
‘Do you mean physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually?’
“Yes.” Brian confidently replied. “That is what I mean.”
‘Excellent, brother. You are ready to go back now. How do you feel?’
“Like I want to stay.”
‘Brother, do you believe that most wisdom comes in moments of chaos and not in moments of bliss?’
“Well for me, outside of the last few weeks, I'd say that was a pretty accurate statement. But now I can see that I don't need chaos anymore to learn wisdom - not anymore. Lately, I've been pretty happy just blissfully sitting and chatting with you and Arcturus and all the rest."
‘Yes, but that is not what you used to do.’
“No. I used to be Mr. Chaos, himself.” Brian remembered all those times of screaming and yelling and pounding walls and breaking things – all because life was being so unfair and simply refused to go right. “Ya’ know T, if there’s one thing I've learned on this trip, it’s to slow down, smell the roses, go with the flow and not stress out about what’s to come. That was definitely another guy back there at SeaWorld.”
‘That guy was still there at Mount Rainier.’
“Yeh, but I hope he’s gone now.” Brian stared out into space.
By now, the sun had set, and shadows had overcome the islands. Brian stood up and went inside the hut. Both Michael and Karen were sitting on the couch, acting as if they were waiting for Brian to walk in.
“What’s going on?”
After a momentary lapse, Karen spoke. “We’re going back, Brian. There’s work that needs to be done. We just can’t stay here any longer.” Karen seemed very hesitant about leaving. She felt like she was letting her friend down.
“Your timing couldn’t have been more perfect.” Brian smiled. “I am going, too.”
That information created a party atmosphere, where a funeral existed just moments before. “Excellent. How shall we celebrate?” Michael gave Karen a big hug and threw Brian a thumbs-up.
“I think we should take in the town, one more time. I think we should thank these wonderful people of Bimini for providing us this place. I think we should breathe deep and take it all in.”
“Now that sounds like a plan.”
After about an hour of shaking hands and jumping for joy, the trio ran into a local bistro and ordered the menu. They were rather hungry.
As they were waiting for their food to arrive, Brian had a question for Michael. “Hey, are you angry anymore? I mean about government or anything.”
“No.” Michael had great relief on his face. “I’m not angry about anything, anymore. Everything I’ve been through in these last few weeks has changed my whole life. Beoneius, the whales….”
“Whales?” Brian cut in. “You’ve been talking to whales?” He seemed a bit miffed.
“Well, yeh, weren’t you?”
“NO.” Brian answered quite matter-of-factly. “I was talking to the dolphins, I didn’t talk with any whales.” Now Brian was acting like a child who missed out on his own birthday.
“Well, maybe they just didn’t want to talk with you.” Karen shrugged her shoulders.
“Hey…” Brian started seeing the light. “YOU’VE BEEN TALKING TO THE WHALES, TOO?” Now he was really feeling left out.
Suddenly a deep, booming presence entered into Brian’s mind. ‘If you ever wish to speak with us, we are always here.’
“See?” Both Karen and Michael said at the same time. "Hey!" Then they laughed and clinked their drinks together.
Then Michael turned and asked Brian a question. “Hey Brian, what things have you learned that you would consider to be the most important of all. I mean, if you’ve been through anything like I have, I know you’ve learned a whole lot in a short time. But what’s the most important thing you’ve learned. I’d hate to leave this place not knowing what you know.”
Brian then lifted his drink and clinked his friends’ glasses. “I guess if I were to pick the most important thing, I would have to say that I am not separate from anything. Everything I can touch or see or taste or hear or think of or do - everything is me. And I am That Which Made Me. We are One.”
“Wow. That’s pretty big.” Michael shook his head, amazed at the response. “I was looking for something a little less Earth shattering.”
“I’ve learned that God is behind everything. He is the cause of this COSMIC CONSPIRACY. And in knowing that, I’ve realized that our Heavenly Father wants us to recognize Him and Love Him, not under imposed rules, but through our own free will – like a family.” Then Brian turned the tables. “Michael, why do you suppose God created a totally non-responsible, uncomprehendible government or legal system or banking system or healthcare system or insurance system or even market system?”
“Wait. Man created those things, God didn’t.”
“Michael, listen.” Brian stretched himself across the table and spoke softly, but firmly. “God is everything. Everything around you. Everything WITHIN you… even your thoughts. If man thought he needed to create an unforgiving, punishing and controlling authority, then God gave man those thoughts to work with. To think any other way would make man greater than God. And that is not a good thing to do.” Brian sat back in his chair.
“Well, if that’s the case and God’s to blame for everything, then why on Earth would He do that? Why would He give people thoughts to create a government that just loves to do what it does? Why would he allow people to create hospitals, where if the treatment doesn't kill you, the bill will? Why would He give the idea to create a system that makes everything so expensive, that you have to buy insurance, just to get a tooth pulled?”
“To make you turn to Him.” Brian’s eyes sparkled with the wisdom of the ages. “To make you stop believing that another human being on this Earth is more important than you – has more power than you. To make you stop going outside of yourself, to find your own answers - your own healing. The time has come to go within and trust your heart.” Brian’s pointer finger found its mark on Michael’s chest. “And come to know reliance.”
“But I still don’t get it. God’s created a system that punishes us when we don’t go to Him? Why does He want to punish us?” Michael has always had an affinity for religions that just love to punish.
“He’s not punishing us, Michael. WE ARE.”
“I’m lost.” Michael took another drink.
“Me, too.” Karen joined him.
“Look, do you know that life is a mirror, and your environment is the reflection of the image that you cast into that mirror?” Brian was thankful he remembered T’s thoughts with such good precision.
“Yes. Beoneius just talked to me about that this morning.”
"Excellent. Now think about that belief for just a moment when you think about government. Don’t Americans just love to spy on their neighbors? Don’t they just love to impose their will when they think they’re right? Aren’t they always willing to harm people whom they consider to be a threat? Don’t they all judge with absolute impunity, never taking responsibility for anything they say… or do?”
Michael's mind was racing. “It’s always intrigued me to see how individual people can come together as a collective group and claim to have Rights that they don't have as an individual. But then claim to get their power from the individuals.” Then he responded to Brian's question. "Well, no, I wouldn’t say all of them do."
“Would you say a majority of them do?”
Michael thought for a brief moment. “Yeh?”
“Would you say that that majority of people make up the democracy of which the United States claims to operate under?”
“Well…” Michael thought for a moment. “Yeh. I guess so.”
“Then knowing that and knowing that the environment is a reflection of the image cast into it, how can you expect any other government than the one currently operating? Americans are fascinated with laws that they cannot understand. They look at all these shenanigans like it’s some kind of Hollywood movie. They root for the underdog, who everyone knows is in the right, yet in the end, claim you can’t fight City Hall when the underdog gets his neck stretched.”
“Braveheart.” Michael responded. That movie gave Brian a cold sore on his lip for two weeks.
“Exactly. The old American truth was one of freely cooperating individuals, where tolerance, mercy and giving were at the heart of American life. The new American truth is one of forced socialism under a self-induced sovereign, where intolerance, punishment and taking are at the heart of it. Not to mention the killing of so many innocent people around the world, so Americans can claim to be free. And this truth is NOT government generated, it’s PEOPLE generated.” Brian’s tone brightened. “But, once The People come to see this and actively decide to change their thoughts - their truths - then they’ll see that a life of calm and peace was always there to begin with. They only had to make the conscious choice to live it and stop creating chaos in an attempt to be safe and secure." Brian saw a Lizzy in his mind’s eye, standing in shallow water… arms crossed… toenail tapping.
Brian paused for a few more moments to witness the metaphoric light bulbs turning on over his friend’s heads, while the real ones started to flicker. And he also noticed that the full moon was putting off a whole new shade of brightness. 'Hmm, shadows at night.' Lots of light action seemed to be going on at this moment. His attention came back to Earth.
"And no government in the world is going to encourage that, because it would put them right out of business.” Brian caught himself. “Or at least out of the business they’re conducting today.”
The trio then heard a commotion over in the corner where the TV set was playing. “Hey, let’s go see what The People are up to today.” Michael raised his eyebrows and grabbed Karen. Brian sat firm. “C’mon Brian, don’t you want to see?”
“Nah. I don’t think there’s really much of anything I want to see on that thing anymore.”
‘Good, brother. It will only generate resistance within you... us.’
Suddenly, some women screamed in horror, turning the commotion into the absolute silence of disbelief. Brian turned to see what had just happened, only to see pictures of people running in horror as mushroom clouds began forming over their heads in the Middle East. Entire regions were being erased from existence. Entire populations were being evaporated at the blink of an eye. Planes were seen taking off from every base in America. Missile silos were firing missiles bound for the enemy. The enemy was also firing missiles. Suddenly the TV signal was cut off, leaving a snowy picture and the monotonous tone of ‘shhhhhh’ throughout the bistro.
The patrons’ focus then turned to the west, looking out at the ocean, through a large bay window. Fire clouds could be seen in the distance, lighting up Miami and the surrounding area. Large explosions lit the night sky like fireworks on the Fourth of July. Everyone was crying in disbelief. Suddenly, there was a bright flash and the air got sucked out of the bistro. Brian grabbed at his lungs, trying to find the oxygen that had just vanished. Then he hoarsely screamed for everyone to dive under their tables. Then, just as he was diving to the floor, he took one last look at what was coming. “I’m dead.” Just at that moment, a huge concussion wave blew through the building like ten F-5 hurricanes hitting all at once, followed up by an all-consuming, bright firestorm of destruction. Then the ocean rose up and completely swallowed the entire island.
Brian’s focus somehow made it back to the present. He found himself flailing in a sea of salt water, totally terrified that he cannot breathe, and he has no idea which way to go to live. And his forehead was really hurting, too.
After what seemed to be a lifetime, a hand reached down and grabbed Brian’s shirt collar and pulled him above the water and then laid him on the ground. After some time, Brian started gasping for air, flailing his arms and legs wildly, as he spit up half the ocean.
After gaining a little bit of his senses back, he glanced to his right and saw Karen kneeling by another person in the distance. “Karen!” He choked. “Are you okay?” He couldn’t seem to get his bearings. He was still out of it from almost drowning. "Is that Michael with you?"
“What?” Karen didn’t understand him.
Brian began pushing his saviors away, in a vain attempt to get up and make his way over to Karen. With his strength gone, he succumbed to the many hands pushing him back down to the ground. “It’s okay, sir. It’s okay, everything’s okay.” Someone said in a calming tone. “You’re okay, now, you almost drown, but you’re okay now.” As Brian came to his senses, he calmed down and the hands naturally removed themselves.
Then Brian sat up, rubbed his eyes and couldn’t believe what he was looking at. “What… happened?” He didn’t understand, being in a total state of confusion. “Where…?”
“Son, you were dead for darn near 10 minutes – a lot longer than most, who were still able to come back and talk about it.” His lifesaver, who coincidentally looked just like Sandy, smiled and stuffed all his wonderful life-saving gadgets and gizmos back into his miracle EMT pack.
When more help arrived, Karen ran over to see how Brian was doing. “Are you alright?” She gingerly touched that bulging red spot on his forehead. “You came down from the stands to help out some trainers but got knocked out yourself. You were on the bottom for quite some time. And frankly, we didn’t think you’d make it back.”
“Back…?”
Then reality hit Brian like a bomb blast. “My God, I’m twenty and on vacation... and I’m not dead.” It seemed like that moment right there lasted for an eternity... then he blinked. Then he jumped to his feet and noticed that nothing had been destroyed by nuclear weapons. Everything was just as he left it. He turned to Karen, grabbed her by the shoulders and gave her a big hug and a kiss. “I’M NOT DEAD!!” His eyes became as big as saucers, as he gazed at Karen’s most surprised face.
Karen pushed back trying to break herself free from this young stranger.
“YOU’RE NOT DEAD!!” He cheered. Then he released her from his grasp and turned to the security guards who were about ready to apprehend him. “WE’RE NOT DEAD! WE’RE ALL ALIVE!!” He leaped into the air and punched the sky.
Just as one of the security guards got to him and was about ready to try out that new brand of pepper spray he'd just been issued earlier that morning, Brian reached out to the guard with open arms. “I’m not crazy, sir.” Brian sounded out of breath. “I’m not crazy… AND I LOVE YOU!!” He shouted, not once thinking about the possible consequences of his actions – or to whom he was really speaking.
The dumbfounded security guard turned to Karen for some possible clarification on what was happening.
“I’m sorry, but…” Karen shrugged. “I don’t even know him.” She was totally confused with the stranger’s actions.
“I love you!” Brian shouted to some visitors who were standing close by. He was jumping up and down, spinning in a circle like a happy, happy man. Then he glanced back at the pool. “And I love you!” He pointed and screamed to the dolphins, which he didn’t notice swimming in a circle and eeeking loudly. “I love EVERYTHING!!” He spun like a top for about 30 seconds, with his arms stretched out to God.
Then suddenly, he stopped spinning and stood in place like a statue. At that very moment, Brian truly realized that everything he’d just experienced; every moment that he just went through; every feeling of ecstasy and insanity that he'd felt, happened in another dimension - not in this one… not yet, anyway. Then he fell to his knees and sobbed openly. For right here, right now, he absolutely knows how good he REALLY DOES have it. “Thank you, God. Thank you, Father.” The tears really flowed.
All the things he used to snivel about were gone. All those things that weren’t the way they were supposed to be, didn’t seem to matter anymore. He finally recognized all the good things he has in his life, and in that very second, decided to let go of all the darkness - all the arguing - forever.
“It was a dream.” He sobbed. “It was all a dream. T… my trip… the yeti… Bimini… Arcturus… the bombs…it was all a dream.” He then laid his weary head to rest upon the concrete ground and cried no more.
But, after a brief moment, Brian felt an itch on his right thigh and unconsciously reached into his pocket to give it a scratch. His fingers discovered the cause of that itch and pulled out a plastic Ziploc baggy. His eyes opened wide in disbelief.
'Things are not always as they seem, brother.'
It was not the light that arrived first.
Nor did the darkness herald the light – first.
At first, in the beginning,
Neither had consequence.
What was first?
What is the origin of all things?
Love.
You have read what the light has seen.
You have felt the darkness within.
Know those things are all outcroppings of Love.
Not to be judged or harangued.
Not to be used as the vehicle to sacrifice oneself for
the cause.
Unless of course… that cause is love.
It was first, it shall be last.
It endures all things.
It withstands the sands of time – always and forever.
It is the light and the dark.
Love is the answer to your feelings – your witnessing.
Go there, Light Being.
It is there in the cradle of Love, unconditional love,
that you will find your answers,
…and your peace.
May God assist you in your quest.
No more turning away,
From the weak and the weary.
No more turning away from the coldness inside.
Just a world that we all must share,
It’s not enough just to stand and stare.
Is it only a dream that there’ll be no more turning away?
